pov. Rui

I managed to get up earlier then usual today, I was.. excited?

Tsukasa messaged me to meet up at his house, and Emu and Nene would come later. So I got up and changed and went out to go to Tsukasa's place.

I put in my earbuds and shuffled my playlist, music truly calms the soul does it not?

Tsukasa welcomed me at the door and I removed my earbuds and walked up.

"Good morning Tsukasa." I greeted the shorter boy.

"Good morning Rui!" He replied, he looked happy to see me.

That wasn't usual for me, people were rarely excited to see me.

Tsukasa led me inside.

"Are you hungry?" Tsukasa asked.

"A bit." I answered.

"Alright, do you want something to eat?" Tsukasa asked.

"Mm.. Sure." I replied.

Tsukasa looked through the fridge and took out some butter and make toast, somehow he cut the butter in the shape of a star and placed it on top of the rest of the buttered warm, non soggy bread.

I wonder what soggy bread tastes like.

Is it squishy?

Like.. I just wanna squeeze it...

It looks fun.

Like a sponge.

"Here!" Tsukasa exclaimed placing the plate in front of me.

I thoroughly examined it, it was cute how he made a star on top.

"Thank you very much for the meal." I said before eating the warm bread with butter.

Surely enough, Emu entered the house somehow dragging Nene by the wrist.

"Aaa...." Nene screamed quietly, even though it was obviously fake. I chuckled at the sight.

Hold on, Nene's here?

Nene frowned and once Emu let go she flipped onto her back in despair.

I laughed a bit and Nene sat up.

"What's so funny?" Nene asked.

"Oh, it's nothing." I said.

"Alright.." Nene said getting up and walking over to me checking my neck.

"The scars getting smaller.. thank god.." Nene whispered.

"Hm?" I turned to her.

"Ah, it's nothing." Nene said.

Emu dragged Tsukasa over.

"UWAHH!! EMU WAIT-" Tsukasa said rather loudly.

"Andddd~ play!" Emu pressed play on a song on her phone, suddenly everything faded to white.

My eyes widened as color returned. We were suddenly in a wonderland.

Nene ran and hid behind me after the sudden transportation to this place, I must admit the feeling of anxiety is mutual. We were just in Tsukasa's house, and now we're here.

"I tried to tell you to warn them!!" Tsukasa scolded Emu.

"Wahh!!! Sorry sorryyyy!!!" Emu whined.

"Don't apologise to me!" Tsukasa said sternly in response.
