Chapter 3: The Ex-Factor

3rd Person POV

= Waverider, Earth = 

"History is literally being made." Zari tells the Legends around the console. "DJ S'more Money's death is shattering records for most Cat-Chats in an hour. The whole world saw it. Apparently, the alien killed him during a live taping of Da Throne."

"Da Throne?" Ava asks

"In our future it's a wildly popular singing competition, and is single-handedly keeping network television alive in 2045." Behrad says

"I don't know what's more surprising: an alien attacking Zari's ex-boyfriend, or the fact that network TV still exists." Nate says

"Gideon, do us a favor and bring up the video for them, will you?" Constantine asks

"Smashing. I love an evisceration." Gideon says, pulling up the video

"My name is Lord Knoxacrillion, and I am here to slay the king!" The alien yells on the video and kills DJ S'more Money. The video stops

"Why would one of Sara's pod aliens kill a reality star?" Ava questions

"Maybe the alien mistook S'more for a real king." Behrad suggests

"Yeah, and thought that he could usurp marshmallow man's power by offing the b*stard." Constantine says

"Okay, so all we have to do is stop an alien from killing a celebrity." Ava says. "Simple enough. Let's suit up for La La Land."

"What a load of crap!" Mick yells, joining th egroup

"Ooh... yeah, Mick, uh, shower wouldn't do you wrong, mate." Constantine says as him, Zari, and Behrad leave

"Mick, use your words." Nate tells him

"This is a spaceship, is it not?" Mick says. "Why don't we use it to find Sara and Brooke?"

"Mick, we have been over this." AVa tells him. "The galaxy is hundreds of billions of lightyears across, okay? One of those displaced aliens is going to lead us to the girls. You and Spooner are gonna QB. Can you show her the ropes, please?"

"No." Mick tells her. "I'm taking the day off."

"You're gonna let him talk to you like that?" Spooner asks
"I don't take it personal, it's just Rory." Ava says

"Yeah, he's worse than usual." Nate says. "Sara and Brooke's absences are really getting to him..."

"Yeah, I'm sure Sara's absence is really getting to Rory. Must be very hard for him, Nate." Ava says

"I'm sorry. We're gonna find Sara." Nate says. "I bet those girls pulling a Thor: Ragnarok, and they're kicking some aliens' asses, and they're all shouting their names... "Sara! Brooke! Sara! Brooke!" He exclaims

"No one can no Brooke's identity." Ava reminds him as he leaves the room

"Uh, I know her identity." Spooner says

"That's...that's different." Ava says

"Captain." Gideon says. "Miss Maddie is awake and crying."

Ava sighs. "Where are we on tracking Jax down?" She asks

"I am trying." Gideon tells her

"We need him." Ava says. "We need him ASAP, Gideon." She says before she walks out of the room and towards Maddie's room

= Alien Planet, Space = 

"Sara! Sara! You have to wake up." Gary urges Sara to wake up as Brooklyn looks around the area. Sara had passed out for some reason. But Brooklyn was high on adrenaline, bouncing on her toes and looking around. "Sara, whatever's out there, it's still tracking us. Don't panic, Gary. This is Sara freakin' Lance." He talks to himself. "A little Amelia Earhart poison isn't gonna slow you down."
