3rd Person POV

Sara walks into the bridge with Ava next to her and the other Legends around the console clap and cheer. "All right, all right, all right, that's enough. Okay, we get it." Sara tells them with a smile. She turns around and looks behind her quickly before motioning for the group to quiet down and group up. "Listen, Brooke's having a little bit of a rough time adjusting." She explains. "So, when she comes in here, let's just make her feel normal, okay?"

"And going on a mission is going to help with that?" Spooner asks. "Maybe she should sit this one out."

"Nah, mate." Constantine says. "Those of us who know Brooke best know that she feels most normal when she's in the fight."

Nate snaps his fingers and Constantine turns around to see that Brooklyn is making her way into the area, her hood over her head. "Hey, Brooke." Nate says, walking over to her. "Can I give you a hug?" He asks and she nods, hugging Nate

"Alright, Gideon, what do we got?" Sara questions the AI

"I've detected a pod in the Oklahoma territory, 1891, near an encampment known as Fist City." Gideon says

"Woof, that can't be good." Nate says. "The outpost of First City was the wildest of the west. Countless outlaws passed through... Butch Cassidy, Belle Starr, Wild Bill."

"Sounds like a bad scene on its best days." Behrad notes. "Hate to see the kind of havoc an alien could wreak out there."

Spooner winces. "Hey, Spoons, are you okay?" Zari asks

"Yeah, just alien mind-meld's been firing up since the space cadets got back." Spooner says. "That's coming from..."

"Gary, obviously." Ava fills in quickly as Brooklyn shoots Sara a look

"Well, if my read's right, Gary's hiding something big from us." Spooner says

"Well, like, that's okay, whatever it is, right?" Ava says. "I mean, Gary, you're an alien, but you're also one of us, and I think we should all be more accepting of Gary."

"Okay, but now my read says Gary wants to jump Ava's bones." Spooner says

And there's commotion around the console

"Well, I feel like getting back in the saddle." Sara says, cutting through the overlapping chatter. "Who's coming with me?" She says, walking out with a few Legends

"Hey, Nate, just with everything Sara's been through, I think she could use a nice smooth mission, okay?" Ava says

"So a classic Legends romp, on it." Nate says

"Yeah, but easy." Ava tells him

"Got it!" Nate exclaims, running out and leaving only Ava and Brooklyn

Ava sighs before looking over at Brooklyn. "How are you doing?" Ava asks and Brooklyn is pulled from her spacey thoughts, looking over at Ava silently. Ava steps closer to Brooklyn, putting her hand comfortingly on her arm. "I'm here for you, okay?" Ava whispers. "Whatever you need, whenever you want to talk." And with that, Brooklyn gives her a silent nod

"All right, gang, be on watch." Sara says as the group walks through the western time. "The pod has already landed, so the alien could be anywhere."

"Try to keep a low profile." Nate tells the group. "I don't know what's more dangerous, the alien or the locals."

"Sounds like my kind of place." Astra says

"Yeah, mine too." Behrad says. "My dad put me through a cowboy phase as a kid, when he was trying to lean into American culture. Some of it stuck."

"Cute, but I was talking about the lawlessness." Astra says. "Hell, I might know some of these people from, hell. If you want to talk line dancing lassos, try Spooner."
