"♪ Lullaby and good night ♪" Behrad sings with a guitar while Nate plays the triangle and Gary (in alien form) plays the rain stick for the baby alien Gus in the crub. "♪ With roses bedight ♪ ♪ With lilies o'er spread ♪ ♪ Is Gussies's wee bed ♪ ♪ Lay thee down now, rest ♪ ♪ Let thy slumber be blessed ♪ ♪ Lay thee down now and rest ♪ ♪ Let thy slumber be blessed ♪"
"Sleep tight, little buddy." Nate whispers as Gus falls asleep
"Superhero, a totem bearer, and an alien named Gary becomes singing mannies." OGZari says, taking a video. "Did I just invent our spinoff?"
"Are you recording because Sara and Ava asked for constant updates?" Astra asks. "They don't think we can survive one weekend without them, do they?"
"Listen, I just want them to look for their wedding venue without dealing with these dummies." Zari says
Gus wakes up screeching. "Lullaby and goodnight ♪" Behrad starts singing again
"No more singing." Spooner pleads. "I can't take it anymore. That little snot's not crying 'cause it's tired. It's got growing pains."
"Well, he does not look any bigger." Nate tells her
Gary says something in alien. "He said the Gusarax life cycle is only 38 rotations." Spooner translates
"Uh, what does that mean?" Spooner asks
"Yeah, I can see where this is going, new Zari." Spooner says
"Technically, I'm... I'm the original Zari." Zari says
"The OZ." Behrad says
"The one and only." Nate adds
"Yeah, I'm not translating for Gary just because he lost his glasses." Spooner says. "And I'm definitely not helping y'all parse Gus's every gurgle. If I wanted to take care of a baby, I would have stayed in Texas and married the first jerk I kissed." She says, leaving the lab
"Yeah, she's really got that new girl on the ship vibes." Zari says
Footsteps are heard in the hallway. "I know those tiny running feet." Behrad says
"Дядя!" (Uncle!) Maddie exclaims, running into the lab
"Mezzi, Mezzi, Mezzi!" Nate exclaims, running over and picking her up, spinning her around in the air
Brooklyn runs into the room and smiles, seeing Nate and Maddie. "She's getting fast." Zari points out
"Yeah, for real." Brooklyn says. "And I thought I was fast but that little girl has some serious speed." She says. And then she looks at the scene in the room. "Why...why do you have Maddie's old crib?"
"For baby Gus." Behrad explains simply
"Right." Brooklyn says, looking back at Nate. "Ready?" She asks
"For?" Nate asks
"We have a Russian lesson." Brooklyn reminds him
"That's right!" Nate exclaims, bouncing Maddie on his hip. "Ready to help Uncle Nate learn Russian?" He asks Maddie in a babyish voice
"Да! Yes!" Maddie exclaims, giggling
"Amazing!" Nate exclaims, tossing Maddie in the air and putting her on his shoulders. "To the library!" He exclaims, charging forwards
"Oh, great, now I'm running after him too." Brooklyn says with a small laugh, turning to make her way after them
"Hey, Brooke?" Zari questions, catching up with Brooklyn in the hallway
