Can We Save Them?

Chapter 8

POV Rebekah:

After my niece says that her mother is Elena, she passes out, probably shocked that he will marry my brother.

I am shocked too that she will marry my psycho brother, but I am happy that she will be my sister.

I also hope to find who was the one that compelled Elena to stab me in the back and like this to break any opportunities that we may had to be friends. But now that I know the truth, I hope that we will start again, especially after knowing that she will marry my brother.

Then, I think about what the twins said in the presentation, about how they were going to be conceived soon.

'Doesn't that mean that Elena and Kol are going to fall for each other soon? Or they already are crushing in each other? Or were the twins a one-night stand and then they fell in love while taking care of them together?'

"Rebekah!" I hear someone shouting my name, I look up and see Nik looking at me.

"What, Nik?" I growl.

"What were you thinking so deeply?" He then asks.

"I was just thinking about what the twins said, about how they are going to be conceived soon." I reply and then see him with a thinking face on.

I look around and see that someone, maybe Elijah because Kol seems too shocked to move, has put Elena in the sofa.

I, then, look at the kids to see them staring at us.

"Would you like to know it?" My future niece, Nora asks. I look at her confused, so she continues. "To know when my siblings are going to be conceived."

I nod and while waiting for someone to answer I see Kol starting to regain consciousness after his shock.

"We will be conceived in March." Henrik answers, then stops to think and adds. "And you can't stop thinking that we were a one-night stand, we weren't planned but my parents were dating in that moment, they even got married after the graduation."

So, that means that they are going to get married the next summer?!

I look at Kol and see him in shock again, he probably had the same conclusion as me.

"Is he going to be shocked to every little revelation about his future relationship?" I ask jokingly.

"Maybe." Elijah answers from the other side of the room.

I see Klaus, still trying to process that Kol will be a father and be married to "his" doppelganger in a year. Or he is probably processing that he will be a father.

Then, I hear some grunt noises and look at Elena seeing her waking up.

"What happened?" She asks a little confused, then she widens her eyes probably remembering about what happened before she passed out. She looks at her future kids and then asks a question that I did not even think about. "You said that I was the exception and that for that reason I could get / will be pregnant by Kol, what did you mean?"

"I would like to know the answer too." Oh, it seems that Kol is with us again.

"Oh, well, our parents discovered this because of an old grimoire of Ayanna that has Esther." Hannah starts. "It seems that when a doppelganger human or vampire is with an Original, this one being her soulmate, they can procreate."

"That would mean that..." Elena trails off and when she looks at Kol, I see her blush.

'So, maybe Elena already has a littlest crush on my brother, not very developed because they met yesterday, but for the words of my future niece it seems that they are soulmates, so it's not that strange.'
