"Where is yo clothes lil girl?" Ja smiled as he came in the restroom
"I did not say you can come in" i laughed and pulled my shirt on over my swimsuit top
"We gon have fun today and when you come to the game tonight ima show out okay?"
"I can't wait" i said looking at him through the mirror while he grabbed something from the shower
"What you wearing to the game?" He came and stood behind me putting his necklace on
"You'll see when i get there won't you?" I asked as i picked up the brush, working it through my hair
"When you go to work tomorrow, you gon get me in for a cleaning?" He said while slipping his hands around my waist
"Well i'm not going to work tomorrow. I have chemo" i told him
"Oh i'm sorry i thought you had to go back for work" he stood up straight
I didn't say anything else and just kept getting ready
When i finished we left, him holding our beach bag and my hand
He drove to the beach which was nice because it was only me and him. No one else
When we got there we laid a towel down and sat down together
"We gon go ride jet skis but the reservation aint until 3 so we can just chill out till then" he said rubbing sunscreen onto my face carefully
"Okay. Is it scary?" I closed my eyes allowing him to do it for me
"Nah it's just like driving on the street but you gon get wet" he chuckled
"Cool" i smiled
He put sunscreen on everything from my neck up then i took off my shirt and shorts, running to the water
He stood at the edge of the water smiling as i went until my shoulders were covered
"Come in with me jamel the water feels nice" i waved him over
"This waters cold as fuck nani" he laughed
I went back to the edge and took his hands pulling him in with me
"I told you it's cold nani i-"
He stopped and gasped once the water reached his waist
"Come on ja don't be a baby" i smiled and splashed him with the water
"Nani" he turned around laughing
"Can you swim number 12?" I went over and got on his back
"Yeah i can swim but I'm cold" he put his hands under my legs, helping me get all the way on
"You have to just get in the water. Don't be scared" i turned his face toward mine
"If i drop down in es water right now you going under with me" he said
