"It's okay kaari. Mommy's got you" i tried to calm a very upset kaari

I'd been up all night with her because she was fussy. I tried everything, burping her in case her belly felt full, exercising her legs in case she's constipated and lullabies but nothing worked

I know ja has work so I didn't wanna wake him but it's now 6 am and i'm so exhausted

"Alright princess what about a bath? You want a bath?" I said taking her to her room

I went to her restroom and started a warm bath for her while still rocking her because she was still crying

When i sat her in the water finally she calmed down making me sigh in relief

"Mommy's so sorry it took so long to figure out i bet you probably have the worst headache" i said gently wiping her head

"Good morning mama" i heard making me look up to see ja rubbing his eye

"Good morning my love. How'd you sleep?" I smiled and looked at kaari again

"I slept okay but you didn't come to bed. What happened?" He came and sat next to where i was seated on the floor

"Kaari was a little frustrated and I couldn't figure out what was wrong..she just wanted a bath" i shrugged

"Why didn't you wake me up?" He said frowning at me

"You have work I didn't wanna bother you" i looked at him

"I'm taking her to work with me okay? And you can just relax today i'm gonna call the masseuse"

"Are you sure? What if she gets fussy again. Do you really wanna take her?" I said

"Yeah it's fine kaari loves her daddy aint that right princess" he said caressing her face

"Okay. Can you take her while i go pump? I didn't get a chance to last night" i asked

"Yeah of course" he nodded and took her in his hands

"Thank you baby. I love you" i said kissing his cheek

"I love you too nani" he smiled

I went to my room and sat down hooking the breast pumps to me before starting it

I pumped for 20 minutes before it was full and i had to turn it off

I pumped a total of 17 ounces which would be more than enough for her. I put the milk into 5 different bottles for ja then put the rest of the milk into a bag to go in the freezer for later

Once her milk was set, i took her bottles to her room and began to pack her diaper bag while ja had her laying on her changing table getting her dressed

"Here's her bag" i said once it was packed

"Thank you. The masseuse will be here around 12. In case you wanted to go to sleep first" he said focused on putting her diaper on correctly
