"Teniya" ja walked in the room i was using
"I'm up" i said styling my braids
"This was a favor teniya okay? That means you cannot be missing workouts remember that was apart of the deal for you to stay. Go in there focused on workouts and getting better. Don't embarrass my name or you gotta go home aight? You might be a lil older now but we can still get busy lil girl" he said in a playful manor
"Get out jamel" i smacked my teeth making him laugh
"The driver gon take you when you ready. The chef making yo lunch and breakfast. Nani still sleep but im going to the gym text me if you need me" he said making me nod
"100 shots fa the ones still in sc!" I said while wrapping the hair tie around my hair
"Yep. I love you lil girl"
"I love you too" i said then got up and got dressed
As time went on, i grew more nervous. My friend nova who i've been texting for a long time said she goes there and that she'd see me today but I haven't seen her since she moved away years ago
I put the finishing touches on my outfit then packed a bag for practice right after school
Next I went to the kitchen where princeton had just placed my food on a plate
"Good morning princeton" i sat down, pulling the plate over
"Good morning teniya" he replied and gave me syrup and a cup of orange juice
"Did you cook for nani?" I asked while taking a bite of my pancakes
"Her food gets cooked later because she doesn't go to work today..or that's what mr morant told me" he said
"Oh i was just checking...you know I don't live here i was just making sure because of my niece or nephew" i smiled but quickly widened my eyes
"What?" He looked at me
"I said i'm making sure because she needs a bless you. It's an inside joke she'd know what it means" i shook my head
Ja said no one knows so i gotta keep it quiet
Princeton nodded then got back to cleaning after himself while i finished eating
I grabbed my lunch, stuffing it in my backpack before going to the car where the driver was waiting on me
"Good morning" i smiled at him as i got in
He smiled then shut my door and got in himself
I pulled my phone back replying to novas text which made her immediately begin to type again
We talked all the way until i got to school
I toured the school yesterday so i just got out and went to my first class even with immediate whispers and stares
