"Bella, Bella, wake up", Derek rushed to my side, it's like I could hear him, but I was failing to get up, it felt like I was in another dimension. A sudden pain woke me, D my baby, I cried out in pain. D take me to the doctor now, tears emitted my eyes, weakness was overpowering me. I don't want to lose my baby, Derek please hurry, please hur...... I felt light, and remember blacking out. "Shit, Bella wake up please, we're almost there", Derek drove faster reaching the hospital, and was helped by the doctor and nurses. " Take her to the emergency care unit, she's too weak to carry this baby, we have to do all we can", the doctor gave instructions. " Sir, if you please stay outside, and fill her details, I will be with you shortly", the doctor said as he rushed in, closing the doors behind him. Derek couldn't stop pacing up, and down the hospital corridor way with tears in his eyes, the only thing he could do is to pray to God for a miracle that both his wife and baby survive. " Bella, I promise, I'll take you to a new place we start our lives together, no family that will stress you out like this, and as for your mom I'm sorry Bella, but it's time I step up as your husband. She has no right to break the news to you like that, didn't she care about your condition at all?. Bella's mother arrives, trying to calm Derek down. " Hey, is she okay?, any news?", she asked. " You are the reason she's here, so don't act like you care", he looked at her with dead shot eyes. " Watch your tone boy, I'm her mother, and you are just the father of that baby nothing else", she shouted. " Let me correct you on something, she might be your daughter, but she is my legal wife who carries both my surname and my baby, so next time you raise your voice keep that in mind", he pointed at her. " You are lying, wife haha, you are just saying that to brush me off", she laughs. " I knew you would react like that but if I may", he hands her Bella's Identification card which showed her surname being the same with Derek's she fell down in shock. " Now I ask you, please leave us alone, if she comes out of this she will come and see you herself other than that stay the hell away from me and my wife you lying hoe", he turns and leaves pacing to the door where Bella was, taking a seat on the bench that was near. He broke down and cried. " Bella, please be okay, you are the only thing I live for. Without you, what will I do, huh?. It was me who suggested we go see your mother in the first place, I should be punished and not you", he wipes his eyes calming down as the doctor came out. " Doctor, any news?", he asked. " We managed to stabilize her, but I'm afraid we are going to have to induce early labor, pray to God the baby survives please", the doctor left as Derek fell down to his knees and wept. The pain was too much for him. " Hey Derek, listen I'm not fighting with you or anything, I just thought this would comfort you, please update me how my daughter is doing, please do it for her not for me", she hands him the letter. He quickly opened it, wiping his clouded eyes:

I'm so sorry for falling in love with you the first time I laid my eyes on you. It was the day my heart beat fast and slow for you. The doctor comes out, "Hie, I have good news, the baby is okay breathing through a machine right now, we will monitor and see. Congratulations on the birth of your son," he smiles with his tired eyes. Words could not express how they felt, mixed emotions took over them, they cried, smiled, and hugged each other. " The mother is fine, but I'm afraid she went into a coma, we don't know how long she'll be like this" he said looking at Derek.............................................................
