Team Up

Y/N POV

Ruby looks at us. Please don't let this be happening right now.

Ruby: "Hey it's you, that creature from the docks."

Amica: "You're mistaking me with someone else."

Ruby: "No it's you. No other Grimm can talk."

Y/N: "She's got us there."

Ruby: "So what're you doing here?"

Amica: "I was just in the area."

Ruby: "You're a bit away from Vale. Is this where you call home?"

Amica: "Yes."

She walks closer having to look up to match eyes.

Ruby: "You're really tall."

Amica: "It's my genetics."

Ruby: "What exactly are you?"

Amica: "I'm freak of nature. I was created purely by accident."

Y/N: "We need to leave."

Amica: "Well it was nice meeting you. But I must be going now."

We turn leaving but have our wrist grabbed.

Ruby: "If you call this place home then maybe you can help me."

Amica: "What do you need help with?"

Ruby: "My team and I are trying to find out why Grimm are targeting a small village around here. It'd be really great if someone like you helped me."

Amica: *internally* "What do we do?"

Y/N: "I say we help her. Then when she's not looking we ditch her and switch places."

Amica: "Good thinking." *speaking* "I'll gladly help you."

Ruby: "Good."

We begin walking through the forest.

Ruby: "So, you got a misses... uh, whatever you are?"

Amica: "Nope. I've been single all my life. What about you?"

She blushes.

Ruby: "I've got someone. His name's Y/N."

Amica: "Tell me about him."

Ruby: "Well he's really sweet. He doesn't have a semblance or an aura. But he managed to find a way to fight just as fine."

Amica: "He must be scared. Fighting without any protection."

Ruby: "I'm sure he is. But he can handle himself well."

A voice is heard. We dive behind a tipped over tree. Looking over we see two White Fang goons.

Ruby: "What're they doing here?"

Amica: "I don't know."

WFG1: "How much longer we gotta patrol?"

WFG2: "Until we don't. Now shut up and let's get back to base."

They begin walking away.

Ruby: "We have to know where their base is."

Amica: "I'm on it."

He slings Ruby onto our back. Then with a leap we swing from tree to tree following the goons. Eventually we come to a massive hole in the ground. Landing we look down the dark abyss.

Ruby: "We need to get in there."

Wings sprout from our back. We use them to fly down the hole. At the bottom we see a train station. Laying onto our chest we crawl on the roof. Ruby looks over us at the goons surrounding the train.

Ruby: "Can you get us closer?"

Amica: "Hold on."

Ruby's hands submerge into us. A tendril makes its way closer to the train. Ruby's eyes then glaze over as the tendril tip reaches the train.

Ruby: "Cool. See if you can find a way inside the train."

The tendril sneaks in through a pipe. It continues to travel down it until we come to what would be a small office.

Ruby: "I see someone. Try to get closer."

The tendril lays on the desk. It's then we see a woman with pink and brown hair looking at a map of Vale. Just then a male enters the room. They talk but the girl moves her hands.

Ruby: "I don't speak sign language."

Y/N: "I can. Translate."

I watch her hands move.

Amica: "She's asking if everything is place."

Ruby: "Place for what?"

I focus on her hands. My eyes widen.

Y/N: "My Oum. She's gonna plow a train right into the heart of Vale."

Amica: "She's sending a train through Vale."

Ruby: "What!? Why!?"

Amica: "Says it's outta revenge. Revenge for what happened to Roman."

Ruby: "That must be his accomplice. But why take revenge for someone who was arrested?"

Amica: "People are just crazy."

Ruby: "We  need to warn the others."
