Silas POV

It was early morning when the doctor came to check me out again. Jay was quick to wake up as soon as the door opened. He made sure I was safe as the doctor looked me over. Paul of course woke up as I had to move around for the doctor but as soon as he was done I got another hug from my big brother.

I'm not used to people holding me but I can't help but snuggling into my brothers. First Jay and now Paul. I can't believe how many people care about me. They don't even know me!

"Time to leave, Silas." Jay says and I frown as Paul gets up setting me back on the bed. Theo picks up Lee who doesn't want to get up. Two of the boys leave then Paul stretches before following them.

Mom goes with them saying something I can't understand. I guess they are finally leaving me.

"Come on Silas we need to get you into some real clothes before we leave." Jay says holding some new clothes out to me.

"We?... me too?" I ask and he looks confused.

"Of course you too. We're going home. We have a family doctor, doctor Conrad. He's going to look after you until we can get you in to see a special doctor who knows all about little kid's hearts. Then that doctor will make you good as new." He tells me with a smile.

"I thought no one could help me... they said I couldn't be saved." I tell Jay and he sighs.

"It's true that it's going to be hard but I believe you can make it. You're our brother now. We won't let anything hurt you and that includes your damaged heart." Jay tells me and I give him a hug. I can't believe they really care so much. "Now come on you need to get dressed."

It took a long time to.get to our new home. After driving through a big city we ended up on a winding country road, then in a thick forest. We drove through the trees for what felt like hours before it finally opened up to a small town. There were little shops and houses along a single main road. Any side streets were more like an alleyway.

As we drove through the town everyone waved at us like we were good friends. Maybe my new family is famous here? I don't know but it all seems so strange. At the end of the main street is the biggest house I've ever seen. It's a mansion!

"Close your mouth pup." Jay chuckles. "That's Scott's house. Many of the young people without... that aren't married live there too. The houses are all for families." He tells me. It seems so strange. Why would everyone just move in with this Scott's guy? He seems scary. "I have my own apartment there and Paul will be moving in soon."

"You won't live with me?" I ask. He's the only one that understands me. I won't be able to talk to anyone!

"It's okay Silas. I'll be around. We'll work on your English and you'll be chatting with everyone else in no time." Jay tells me sensing my fears.

"English." I say and he nods.

"That's the language everyone here speaks. You're learning so fast you'll get it in no time."

Jackson POV

I watch in the rear view mirror as Jay talks with Silas. I do wish I could understand him and Lee. It's so hard not being able to communicate with them on my own. Silas looks awe struck as he sees the pack house. I'm not sure how Jay is describing it to him but I know it must be hard.

We are under strict orders not to tell the boy about what we are. I'm not sure how easy that will be. We are all itching to shift after the last few days but it would be hard to explain us all disappearing at once.

I'm not sure how long the secret will stay in place but I suppose the language barrier will help with that. We can talk wolf stuff and he won't understand. Little Lee however still needs to meet her new Alpha once we're settled in seeing as she was asleep when he visited at the hospital. Every new wolf in a pack must submit to the Alpha no matter the age. It's easier for children as they don't have to say an oath or exchange blood. They simply must submit and have the Alpha accept them.

"We're home." I announce to the car.

Everyone unloads making their way into the house. The newest additions to our family obviously have their favorites as Theo carries Lee and Jay carries Silas into the house.

Lee is a bundle of energy after having slept for most of the last 24 hours. She quickly has Theo put her down and begins running throughout the house. After her initial run through she returns ranting something to Silas that causes both him and Jay to laugh.

"What did she say?" I ask my eldest son.

"She said she can't wait to go sledding down the staircase... you're going to have your hands full with that one pop." He laughs again and I smile.

None of my boys have called me pop in years. When they were young it was common but as they grew up I guess the term of endearment was considered too childish. I became Dad so they could fit in with their peers. I guess having young ones in the house allows for a bit of childish-ness in all of them.

Silas says something and Jay nods setting him on his feet.

"Take it slow bud." I tell him and he looks confused until Jay translates and Silas nods.

"Okay.. Dad." The boy nods filling my heart with joy. He didn't even ask Jay how to answer. He's learning. It may only be two words but it means the world to me. I couldn’t be more proud.
