Mint Chocoz is probably the ship people loves the most. It's just something about their chemistry that seems so good. The two maknaes are both mint chocolate lovers, hence the name and despite what people think, the duo is actually more calm than it seem. At least calmer than the Beomha ship. Also, Hueningkai is Hayeon's second favourite member after Taehyun so it made their friendship all the cuter.

Hayeon got hungry in the middle of the night and so she went to the kitchen. One thing that she forgot is how the cabinet is so tall that she needed the member's help. However, it was already so late in the night and she doesn't want to wake anyone up just to help her so she opened the fridge to find something to eat. Hueningkai woke up in the middle of the night because he was thirsty and wanted something to drink. That's when he saw Hayeon.
"Bunny?"
She turned around and get a view of Hueningkai in his cute bunny onesies that she bought him for his birthday. "What are you doing here? It's like 2 in the morning. Did something happen?" Hayeon shook her head and watches as Hueningkai pour himself a glass of cold water. "I was just hungry but the cabinet is too high up for me to reach for the ramyeon. So, I'm trying to look for something to eat in the fridge." Hueningkai hums and gulped down the whole glass of water.
He was that thirsty. Well, he did spent the whole day screaming into his microphone while playing games with his friends. "Do you need my help, bunny?" Hayeon shook her head as she munched on the strawberry that Taehyun had bought her yesterday. "No, thank you." Hueningkai decided to accompany Hayeon as she eats so that she won't feel lonely.
They sat in silence together while Hueningkai stares at the way Hayeon eats the strawberry. She looks a lot like a bunny. It's just so cute. He then realised that she's slowly dozing off while chewing. "Bunny, finish chewing and go back to sleep." She sat up straight to continue chewing but her eyelids felt very heavy that she can't help but to doze off even more. Hueningkai gently shook his head and stood up from his chair only to carry Hayeon bridal style.
"I'll clean them up in the morning." Hueningkai shook his head, "I'll clean them up so just worry about sleeping." Laying her down on her bed, he then pulled the blanket on top of her before placing a quick peck on her temple. "Goodnight, bunny. Have a nice dream."

Hueningkai might seem like he's okay with everything because he seems so happy all the time. However, if you dare mess with TXT and any of the members, you're actually buying a one way ticket to Hueningkai's Blacklist. He hates it when people disrespect others, especially the members of TXT. And most importantly, Hayeon.
And that one interviewer just had to mess with Hayeon on the worst say. Hueningkai was still mad over the fact that MAMA did a horrible job at the camera work but he's even more livid to see the interviewer treating Hayeon like she's some toy that he can toy around. The interviewer held Hayeon's arm and shake her around as if she's some kind of object and Hueningkai had enough. He pry off the hold that the interviewer had on Hayeon and smiled at him with cursing eyes.
"I think Hayeon doesn't like being touched like that. Can you stop it?"
The interviewer was taken aback by Hueningkai's sudden hostility towards him. He had expected the guys to stop his dirty acts but he hadn't expected that Hueningkai would be the one to do it. "I'm still trying to be nice here so please stop it. She's clearly uncomfortable and do you know you could go to jail for harassing a minor? Do you want that, sir?" He cleared his throat and made an excuse to go to the toilet. Hayeon looked over to Hueningkai and his gaze soften.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Hayeon shook her head and tried to smile but it was so awkward and forced. "You don't have to smile if you don't feel like it, bunny. No one should treat you like that and you can be mad about it. It's your right." Hayeon nodded her head and looked away as tears filled her eyes. She had never cry in front of the boys even after knowing each other for more than six years. Hueningkai was shook but he don't show it.
He quickly pulled Hayeon into his arms to comfort her. "It's okay. You can cry all you want. We'll always be here for you. You're safe with us, bunny."

"What about this song? I think it fits you better," Hayeon suggested the song to Hueningkai who's still trying to find a suitable song for him to make a cover. It's Youngblood by 5SOS. "Really? This song suits me? How so?" Hayeon shrugged her shoulders. She's sitting on top of Hueningkai's lap while he's scrolling through Twitter on the computer. They're trying to see what song their fans think Hueningkai should cover.
Hayeon shrugged her shoulders once again. "I don't know. I just know. Besides, every song fits you if you try. Why do you work so hard for a cover anyway?" Hueningkai rested his chin on top of Hayeon's head. He doesn't know why too. Maybe he wanted the best. For him and others. "Also, why am I sitting here when there's a chair next to you?" Hayeon tried to get up to sit on the chair but Hueningkai is quick to wrap his arm around her waist, stopping her from leaving.
"You're softer than any plushies I have. Besides, you talk. And you're super cute too." Hayeon smirked, "cuter than Goguma? Or even Tobin?" He hummed, acting if that isn't that big of a deal while it made Hayeon blushes madly. However, Hayeon suddenly remembered something. "Oppa."
He hums, eyes not leaving the screen. "If you have to choose between me and Soobin oppa, who would be the softest?" Hueningkai frowned in disbelief. He couldn't believe how random the maknae is being. It's like choosing between something that he can't choose over one another. "You guys are both soft, bunny. But I favour you more because you're always open for cuddles while Soobin hyung mostly kick me off the bed. And, you're so tiny. It's so easy to cuddle you. Soobin hyung is big, you know that right?"
Fair enough. Soobin is indeed big. I mean, he's the tallest trainee in BigHit back then so it's not a surprise if he actually grew an inch or two over the years. "And— done! Let's get some dessert, bunny!"
"Let's go!"
