The four figures are making their way to the south of the Angelos Empire, through the woods, searching for the raven-haired beauty. It's the third day since the incident, and they have no time to waste saving Isis and Natalie. Medea peers over her shoulder, observing Apollo and Natalie conversing on occasion.

She is somewhat familiar with Apollo for someone who claims to be someone other than Natalie. Moreover, the blonde woman appears at ease in the presence of Lord Apollo. Hector notices the same thing but is unconcerned about it. Maybe it's normal; he's the same as Medea. Nothing unusual about it.

However, getting to the southern parts of the Empire will be challenging. It's the middle of the day, and they're taking a breather in a slumbering little town. Everyone gets off their mounts to give their horses a rest. Since they need to blend into the crowd, Medea and Hector have left their knights at Veronica's house.

Natalie expresses gratitude to Veronica and Winter for their perseverance. On the other hand, Medea has instructed her knights to flee immediately and wait for them somewhere out of sight. They are unquestionably obligated because it is her trusted knight. This is something that Lord Apollo also does for the Smith knights. Compared to their first mission together, it appears that the Valimos and Smith's knights are getting along well.

While waiting for the horses to rest, the intrepid trio decides to check out the local shops. After hearing that the Duchess of Light wants to look for food along the way, Lord Apollo offers to check on the horses instead, leaving Aurora with the other two. On their way to the vendor, the intense band of three encounters an elderly couple.

"What a wonderful couple here!" exclaims the elderly lady.

The trio is taken aback by such exclamations, causing Duchess Smith turns to face Medea and Hector.

"Yes, indeed. They look like a couple," Aurora thought, checking out both figures.

Medea is a stunning woman, and Hector is a handsome man, making them a visual couple. But, of course, when it comes to them, people secretly worship them on the ground. In this world, who wouldn't?

"Ah, I'm practically third-wheeling here. I should have stuck with Apollo," Aurora reasoned, regretting following Medea and Hector.

The trio watches as the elderly couple walks over to them, waiting for their next move. Knowing where the elders would head next, the Duchess of Light then looks at the trinkets, expecting the couple to speak with Medea and Hector. However, Duchess Smith was utterly wrong when a wrinkled hand touched hers, forcing her ruby eyes to focus on the woman's brown eyes.

"What do you want to get for your husband?" the elderly lady smiles at Natalie, drawing a blank stare on the Duchess' face.

"Me?" the blonde inquires, she points out to herself.

"Yes, you, young lady and this young man are a couple, right?" the question struck Natalie the most and confused her even more.

The Duchess of Light is still perplexed by her question as she looks around for her husband. But then her gaze is drawn to a pair of purple eyes. No way--

Natalie lets out a disgusting face, looking at Marquess Alwyn as if she would never consider Hector, her husband.

"No-" another hand slips through her waist before she can respond to the woman's question.

"Why would you leave me alone, honey?" Natalie becomes stiff as a result of the sudden movement.

When she turns around, she discovers that Medea is the one who is clutching her waist, drawing another slack-jawed expression on her face.
