It was a rainy and humid day, as Carla walked outside, with her umbrella. It was gonna like this all week. On and off rain, with heavy downpours from time to time, and high humidity to boot. Carla's plans for fishing were ruined. She wanted to go fishing by the lake.
There was finally a lull in the rain. It stayed cloudy for the most part, with little in the way of sunshine.
But, the skies opened up again, delivering another hefty dose of rain, which pounded the windshield of Carla's Ford Taurus, as she drove to Burger King to get herself a bite to eat.
