EDDIE'S POV (FLASHBACK)
I rub my hands anxiously as I stare at the muted TV screen playing infront of me. I try to focus on the movie, but all I can think about is her.
Has she found the letter yet?
How does she feel about it?
What is she going to do now?
Did I make a mistake?
No. This is not a mistake. It is the right thing to do. You cannot force yourself into something you are not sure you even want.
In this case, a relationship.
She will understand. She has to. She has to realise that this is better for the both of us. I'm saving us from the misery. It's better this way.
I hear the doorbell ring.
Mike opens the door.
I am praying it is not who I think it is.
"Eddie" Mike yells.
"Chrissy's here!"
