3rd person's POV
Oddly enough, class passed by fairly quick, which was funny since Anne was dreading the confrontation Marcy was gonna put her through.

She could barely lie to her dad, so she knew she had no chance at lying to Marcy.

It was the last class of the day, and they had grabbed their things, both ready to leave, one a lot less than the other, but still.

They left the school building side by side.

Silence filled the air, both unsure what to say, and unsure who would start up the conversation.

Until finally, Marcy spoke, "So, you've seen my house, Anne..."

The other girl tensed up, anxious for what Marcy had to say, wondering if she had somehow found out her big secret, even though that was highly unlikely, her racing mind had made it sound plausible.

Marcy sheepishly picked at her backpack, a shy smile appearing on her face as she whispered. "I was wondering if I could I see yours? Like, your home."

Anne, although confused, relaxed, it wasn't what she was expecting at all, but when she glanced over at Marcy and saw her soft eyes, her face heated up, but she didnt break their gaze.

"You wanna see my house?" She asked and tilted her head, as she had a confused eyebrow raised.

Marcy nodded eagerly, she jumped in place which made Anne turn to her with a small adoring smile.

"Yeah! I think it'd be fun, I'd see what you're like! You can usually tell how someone is based on their house, and I could even meet your parents!"

Anne froze at the last part, her smile faltering slightly, she didnt want Marcy to meet her dad, maybe her mom since she was clueless about the whole thing, but never her dad.

But when Anne looked up, determined to tell Marcy no, it fell away immediately when she was met with Marcy's excited grin and twinkling eyes.

She couldn't say no to her.

So, with a sigh, she swallowed and nodded, "Yeah, I don't see why not."

She did see why not, but she wanted to keep that breathtaking smile on Marcy's face.

The ravenette's eyes lit up, she whooped before throwing her arms around Anne, which made the girl stumble back, but she quickly steadied them both.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Anne looked down and gazed into Marcy's eyes filled with joy and love, she softened into a smile and couldn't help but lean down, brushing her lips against Marcy's.

The feeling made her gasp, when Anne went to pull back, Marcy stopped her by grabbing the collar of her shirt and pulling her back down, pressing her lips against hers, the brunettes eyes widened, but she relaxed and closed them. The soft innocent pressure of their lips intertwining made all of Anne's previous worries disappear, her mind was empty, other than the thoughts of Marcy floating around.

They soon pulled away slowly, Anne more dazed and euphoric than she'd like to admit, their hazy eyes met, and Marcy still hadn't let go of Anne's shirt collar, she smiled at the starstruck brunette, glad she wasn't the only one effected deeply by the kiss, as both their cheeks were dusted with a light pink color.

She finally let go of Anne, taking a step back, and she knew the brunette's eyes were following her.

Marcy cleared her throat, so nervous at having Anne's undivided attention for so long.

"Anyways, uh... Let's go!"

She began walking, which snapped Anne out of her daze and she shook her head before following Marcy.

-

They had finally made it to Anne's house, it was a two-story home, much smaller than Marcy's house in comparison, but Marcy didn't seem to mind it.

Anne unlocked the door with the keys from her backpack, and twisted the door open before gesturing for Marcy to go in, and she went in after her.

Marcy seemed amazed, though Anne didn't know why, her house was nothing special.

Marcy's eyes scanned the house, going from the flowers, the kitchen, and all the many sprawled out family photos on the wall, and some of solely Anne.

It was truly spectacular in her eyes.

"Holy frog, Anne! Your house is so cool!"

Anne smiled slightly as Marcy spun around towards her, Marcy grabbed onto her shoulders and said. "If your house is this cool, then how's your room? Like artsy? Or more casual chic? Or what?"

The brunette laughed softly, touched at how easily Marcy found the beauty out of everything, even small things.

Footsteps could be heard coming down the stairs, both of them turned to see who it was.

Marcy smiled once she saw an older woman who seemed to be Anne's mother, so she approached her and stuck her hand out.

"Hi! I'm Marcy, Marcy Wu! You must be Anne's mother."

The woman smiled at the girls energetic presence, she shook her hand.

"Usually Anne's friends call me Mrs. B, short for Boonchuy."

Marcy nodded, brows furrowed in concentration.

She unconsciously added her first name with Anne's last one and vice versa.

Anne Wu? Marcy Boonchuy?

Her cheeks heated up and she quickly shook those thoughts away before turning to Anne with a grin.

"Anne Boonchuy? Can you get any more cuter?"

She walked nearer to the girl, which made Anne flush red.

"Marcy!"

She only laughed, Mrs. Boonchuy couldn't help but find the interaction adorable.

"Oh! Right, Anne, your dad is coming home soon!"

Annes smile suddenly dropped at those words.

Her father and Marcy would finally meet.

This probably wouldn't be a good thing.

Marcy, oblivious to Anne's mood change, was ecstatic.

"I get to meet your dad too! This day couldn't get any better!"

Anne mustered up a strained-smile, and tried to act as joyful as she could. "Yay..."
