3RD PERSON'S POV

Inari spent the rest of the day looking pensively at her hands, She couldn't shake off the pain of his harsh criticisms no matter how hard she tried. She tried to breathe in and out slowly to calm herself down and clear her mind, but it was no use. Even the slightest thought of her brother made her chest hurt. But deep down she knew that her brother had said those things out of anger and not because they were true.

She stood up from her bed and walked to the balcony of her room, taking in a deep breath of the crisp morning air. Her eyes scanned the area, looking for any signs of her brother, but he was nowhere to be found. He had gone without a word, leaving Inari to suffer alone; it is likely that he was attending a gang gathering again.

Inari's gaze darted around the room as she let out a heavy sigh. The silence was deafening, and the emptiness of the room was overwhelming. She wished that her brother wouldn't send anyone to guard her again, but she knew it was a possibility. She sat down on her bed and buried her face in her hands. Thoughts of her older brother consumed her, and she longed for his presence.

Inari slowly rose from her bed and made her way to the kitchen, each step feeling like a burden. But she let out a small gasp as she saw the four-eyed boy sitting in her kitchen, reading a book with a cup of coffee placed on the table. She hadn't expected to see anyone in the house, and the sudden appearance of the boy was a shock to her.

"Good morning," Kisaki greeted.

As Kisaki sat in the kitchen, he couldn't help but recall the conversation he had with Izana earlier that day. Izana had come to him, looking for advice on how to make things right between him and his little sister. He had been intrigued by the situation. Kisaki could tell that Izana was truly remorseful and was trying to find a way to make things right. Samuel had been happy to help.

Kisaki could see the sadness in her eyes. He knew that the pain of her brother's words still lingered, and he wanted to do anything he could to help her move past it.

"Good morning." She greeted back.

Kisaki took a sip of his coffee as he followed Inari's figure with his eyes, watching as she made her way towards the refrigerator. He knew exactly what she was about to do. He could sense the tension in the air, the uncomfortable silence as Inari reached for the eggs and a bowl.

"Your big bro already made you breakfast." He informed. Looking away from her and opening the book once again to continue reading it.

Inari sat across the table from Kisaki, taking a deep breath to steady her nerves. The silence between them was heavy, the tension still hanging in the air like a thick fog. She opened the small food cover and was greeted by a pleasant sight - a fluffy, golden pancake adorned with a cute cat design. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of it. she looked down at the plate in front of her. It was her second favorite breakfast, one that she looked forward to every morning. Even though she had it every day, she never got tired of it, especially when it was made by Izana.

Kisaki's blue eyes met Inari's orchid ones, and he smiled. "I'm glad you're feeling better," he said, his voice soft

"I don't understand what you're implying," she said, tilting her head to the side. "I'm always happy."

Kisaki sat back in his chair, a small smile on his face as he watched Inari happily munching on her pancake. He couldn't help but chuckle

"I didn't you are really bad at lying." He remarked with a warm smile on his face.

Inari looked up at Kisaki in surprise, feeling a flush of heat rise to her cheeks. She had always been a pretty terrible liar, but it still felt a bit embarrassing to have Kisaki point it out so casually.

"Where did onii-chan go so early, kisaki?" She asked, trying to change the topic.

"I don't know." He answered "Maybe he went to Kakucho to discuss something about the upcoming fight."

Inari couldn't help but feel a sense of worry and dread every time she heard about a gang fight, especially if her friends were involved. She knew that gangs were a dangerous world, one filled with violence and chaos. And even though her older brother, Izana, was strong and capable, she couldn't help but worry about him. She had heard stories about how brutal gang fights could be, with weapons brought into the mix and injuries often leading to death. The thought of her friends, or even Izana, being hurt because of a gang fight made her stomach churn with worry.

"Please, look after my big brother, Kisaki." She softly mumbled.

Inari looked up at Kisaki, feeling a pang of hurt at the sound of his laughter. She had been so worried about her friends and her brother, and to have him laugh at her for that made her heart sink. But as she looked into Kisaki's eyes, she saw that he was still looking at her with warmth, and she felt a sense of hope return to her.

"Sorry," he said, still chuckling. "I just couldn't help it. You always worry so much, Inari.your brother is strong enough to take care of himself."

"Still. I want you to look after him!" She insisted with her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance, showing how serious she is. "I want you to make sure that he won't get hurt or even just a scratch."

Kisaki let out an audible breath and finally nodded his head.

"Fine, I will." He said. "Finish your breakfast and head to your garden after; I want to learn how to plant."

A bright smile tugged on the corners of her lips as she watched him immediately walk out of the kitchen.

'I don't care whether they'll win or not. Most important thing for me is that onii-chan will go home safe...'
