raindrops spatter across my screen
spotting black with silver
hitting my arms as i laugh without a filter
spinning, free as i've ever beenthe rain falls heavier, forming a curtain
trees bleed into green,
blurred by falling beads
as people raise shields as if they will hurt themlightning scones down from the sky afar
jaggedly dancing around me as i dance with my props;
a ribbon of light across mountaintops
my baton for conducting my operaand when it subsides and swirls down the drains,
i bide my time in the sun, and wait for the rain._____
