i'm thankful for the privilege
of attending this school
thankful i was tricked
and overhyped by you
i'm thankful for my family
or my sad excuse for one
my guardians disrespect me
then pretend it's all jokes and fun
i'm thankful for my friends
that talk about me behind my back
when i don't bow down to them
that makes me a spoilt brat
i'm thankful for life, truly
just not that i'm living it as me
