"So...Miya..." i start, i wanna ask to learn how to skateboard..without actually asking. Something about asking him felt embarrassing..
"Yes?" He says looking up from his nintendo "So you skateboard right"I look off to the side trying to avoid eye contact. Something about this is embarrassing
"..yes obviously" he says deadpanning expression resting on his face. "How'd you learn?" I say blankly
"If you want me to teach you just ask" he says, reading like an open book. "Well- i- i don't know...something about asking felt embarrassing"
"Why?"
A long pause went on for about a minute
"Uhm...honestly i don't know"
"Riiiight...anyways first we need to get you a board, i'm scared you might break mine" he says, though sounded more like an insult "you insulting me right now?" i ask confused
"Hm? No, anyways i know a place" yeah he was definitely insulting me

"Dope sketch...interesting name" i say looking up at the boldly written sign on top of the wall of the shop "not really" miya says taking my hand and walking inside
"Hell- Oh hey Miya! Who's this, your partner?"
A teenager who seemed around the age of 16 said
Me and Miya both looked up at him blushing "N-No! They're not- whatever! We're just here to get them a board!"
"Oh..my bad and i can help with that. Do you want it custom made or something in the shop already?" He asked
"U-uhm something from the shop...i guess" i say avoiding eye contact again "alright just tell me if you need help with anything" he says walking back behind the counter, that's when i noticed another teenager standing next to him. Blue hair and eyes with a slander build.
I assumed he worked here too judging from the pink shirt the same as the red haired one was wearing, he just had a hoodie under it
"Miya do you know them or something?" I ask picking up a yellow and orange board "yeah i come here sometimes" he says walking to the opposite side of the shop from me
After about 10 minutes of looking i finally found a board i liked
It was a black and red board with small roses on the bottom of the deck where the wheels were attached onto, red wheels, and a bigger rose on the other side of the board
( sorry if i got the terms wrong i don't really skateboard myself mainly rollerskating so correct me if i got something wrong. You can also change it if you want if it's not to your liking :))
"Miya look at this one!" I say holding the board up to him as if made myself "oh that one's cool" he says a small smile starting to form on his face
"I think i'll get this one" i say running up to the cashier which was the blue haired boy this time. Scanning the barcode he rings me up and i pay.
"Ready to go?" He asks "mhm" i hum a quick reply after Miya bids the two goodbye we head off to the skate park.

"So you wanna put your front foot around here" Miya says slightly tapping the part so i know what to do
"Eh...okay.." i say concerned for my own safety at this point "and put your other foot here" doing the same motion as earlier but now holding onto my hands so i don't fall
"AH-" i scream on the verge of falling
Miya panicking quickly grabs my sides so i don't topple over, that causes me to grab his shoulders for extra support
"My-my bad" he says "eh it's fine...it was either this or face planting" i say reassuring him
"Mhm.." now he's the one avoiding eye contact
"U-uhm..so, we should just continue"i say breaking the awkward silence
The rest of that day wasn't as awkward
