"MIYA C'MON YOU SLOW POKE!" You yelled after him running holding the basket between your hands. "I'm coming, calm down"
He says catching up with you, now joining you being side by side with one another. He links pinkies with you as you continue to walk the action brings a smile to your face
A small, almost unnoticeable one
"So where is this ever so beautiful spot you're dragging me to again?" He questions, continuing to look ahead of him
"We're almost there don't worry, I found the place when the streets were too loud i wanted somewhere quiet." You say turning to look at him then back at in front of you to make sure you're going the correct way
"Makes sense" he says in confirmation
"Oh here it is!" You run up ahead unlocking yours and Miya's pinkies. He pretty visibly looked distraught at the lack of contact but quickly fixed his face seeing you look so happy prancing around in the flowers with a smile on your face
Sure the both of you were young but that didn't change the fact Miya loved you. You looked so content and happy where you were he could stare at you for eternity.
You mean the world to him. It was obvious
He gaze was loving and he didn't take his eyes off you even walking up.
"Miya??" You turned around hearing footsteps. "Yo- Oh-!" He hugged suddenly
You wasted no time hugging him back wrapping your arms around him "Miya you okay-" he interrupted you somehow squeezing you ever so tighter
"Miya- Miya- ca-can't breathe!" He let slightly still but now meeting your eyes
"I love you"
"H-huh-" that's the first time he's ever said it to you. The first he's confirmed it fully. You stared at him not knowing what to say, well you knew, but it seemed nothing would come out
You hugged him again holding tightly to picnic baskets so it wouldn't fall. You hummed happily burying you face in his shoulder
"I love you too Chinen"

My bad for not updating in so long school gets in the way of everything and testing and exams are here so updating is hard 😪
I wanted to get SOMETHING out so it didn't seem like I abandoned anything but the next chapter for the Ray x reader will be up sometimes soon (hopefully)
