Dad, the rest, and the Deniro family were handling the rumors and the press so they have been busy the last three days
Lucifer had made time for our dates and it has been amazing. Abigail, Emily, aunt Lorain, grandma and I had when shopping yesterday and found our dresses as well as some things for the house.
Today we ended our decorating. Lucifer hasn't seen it yet and I hope he likes it. They're coming right now while I placed the last thing in the Nursery. I was glad that Nonna Ida had sent dad the nursery furniture with a more saying they'll come fr the ball and meet me there.
"Hey they just entered the gate come on," Emily said and grabbed my hand before we went downstairs
"This place looks beautiful," Dad said
"It looks like a museum," Melissa said
I smiled and shook my head before taking Lucifer's hand and leading him to the living room
"I didn't change much since the house was already beautiful. I had your brothers and mine help me with an office for you and the rest of the girls and I did," I said and showed them around
"This is great," Lucifer said
"Wait till you see the nursery. Sofia did that alone. I had Liam help of course with the heavy lifting," Emily said
"I want to see first," Kia said but Hades grabbed his brother and gestured for us to go first.
I entered the room with Lucifer and his eyes lit up.
"You could have at least used our family heirlooms not just your own families," Melissa said and Lucifer took a deep breath
"Don't," I said and squeezed his hand before looking at her and saying, "I asked you for some and you said you didn't know where it was. If Hayden is willing to give it then I'll put it in here as well," I said
"I'll have Hades and Jullian help move it here," Hayden said glaring at his wife
"Thanks, Dad," Lucifer says
"Let's have dinner. The twins and Kia had school tomorrow so they need to get rest," Melissa said
"Of course. Come on," I said and we went to the dining room and sat down
"There are so many seats," Julian said
"I have a lot of families and I'm sure you guys have to," I said smiling
"Thoughtful," Hades said
We sat down and the maids brought the food in. After we said grace we started eating but Melissa spat out the food
"This is disgust," She said, "You must have hired a newbie,"
"Sofia and I made the food Melissa," Grandma said
"You cook like this? How are you going to take care of my son if you don't even know how to cook a desand meal?" She asked
"Get out," I said
"Excuse me?" she asked
"Get the Fuck out!" I yelled losing it
"See this is the..." she wanted to say to Lucifer but he started laughing
"Sorry it's just that was fun to watch and hot," Lucifer said
"You're going to let them talk to me like that?" Melissa asked Hayden who was still eating and watching with enjoyment
"Get the hell out of my house," I said
"Your House? Your daddy paid for it," Melissa said and my brothers started laughing
"No, I didn't she paid it herself. She even bought everything in this place with her own money," Dad said
"Impossible how would a spoiled brat get that kind of money?" she asked
"I worked for it since I was 13. I build my company up myself since I was 14. Arvada Technology sounds familiar?" I asked
"No way you..." Kia asked surprised and the rest looked impressed
"You're lying," Melissa said
"No, she's not she's the owner of that company. She owns millions of others too and since our mother died she got a few extra cash, buildings, and Houses," Gio said
"I'm marrying a girl richer than myself," Lucifer said smiling proudly
"Oh and I forgot to mention that she went t a chefs school and was at the top of her class," Gio said proudly
"Wow really must have been a pathetic school," She said digging her grave deeper.
"I want to kill you but I won't let Xander or Xavier go without a mother so I'll tell you again, GET. THE. HELL. OUT," I said and everyone around the table looked at me surprised and in fear
"Hayden," She said
"Don't, you started this so finish this yourself," he said and drank some wine
"This is good," He said
"Thanks I thought I would go well with the Carbonara," I said
"It currently does," He said
"Eat," Lucifer said and looked at Melissa before saying, "You apologize now and then leave. Dad can handle you at home,"
She scoffed and stood up and wanted to take the twins but Hayden said, "Leave the twins. You can see they are eating,"
She looked livid before storming out. I started eating and Adrain looked at me and asked, "Are you really the owner of Arvada Technology?"
"Yeah it was a dream of mine to own a company and since I was in chefs school I thought why not take another task? I loved running it too and going I school. But when mom met him I focus on the illusion so that he didn't know how smart a girl can be. He underestimated me a lot and I loved proving him wrong," I said
"Smart, beautiful, are there more things about you?" Lucifer asked
"Dangerous and strong," I said and they all smiled
"Yeah trust me she is strong. On my first day here she pushed me against the wall with one hand and I couldn't move because she was scary as shit," Emiliano said
"Why?" Lucifer asked
"The police just found out they were m family I couldn't be near them because they would have found me. Bug this idiot didn't give up wanting to be my friend and it annoyed that shit out of me," I said
After dinner, Lucifer and I decided we should spend at least one night here alone and that we'll see our families in the morning.
