Hello my darling viewers.

I'm writing this directly after finishing the chapter you just written and I am an emotional wreck. When I first started part thirty-one, I didn't expect for it to be the last chapter in this novel. Yet it was.

I realise as I look over this story that it focuses solely on Eugene and Valentina, many of the events from the Band of Brothers series and book overlooked, however that was the complete point. This book was a dedication to them, to two people who bonded with each other and realised it wouldn't last.

I'm tempted to release an alternate ending like I did with Love Like This but I feel the last chapter has done enough justice; the fact was, the two were never supposed to end up with each other as, in the future, there would've been issues which forced their relationship to end then. I could release an epilogue about Eugene and his invitation to that 'old war friend's' house but, for now, I am satisfied with where this book ended.

Thank you incredibly for the support I received throughout this. I wrote this novel throughout some very important events in my life and I think I wouldn't remember them as clearly as I do without this book.

For the future, I'm stuck between writing something for either Liebgott or Band of Brothers in general. I have ideas for both but it really depends on how I feel now I've finished this - maybe its time for a break. My studies begin soon so starting another fic now might be a death wish.

Otherwise, thanks again. I'll say it one last time: love you all <3
