You opened your eyes. You were in a cave. This wasn't the first time you woke up in one. You rolled over and picked yourself up. You had all your Demon Slayer clothes and gear on. Your sheath and sword were fine. Your robes were really dirty and smelt like blood. Alright. Only use that move when you really need to. It’s nice to know that you have a Blood Art. You never would have realized it would be so frightening though. You remembered your fight with Mitsuko. You realized you weren’t wearing your hat or mask. You looked out and saw your hat was torn up and your mask was ripped apart. You sighed. You are gonna be stuck here for a while. You sat down and looked for a nice rock. You found the one you wanted and you started sharpening your sword. It was crude, but it was better than nothing. You desperately needed a wash in clothes. As you were sharpening, you heard a twig snap outside. You stood up and looked out. It was silent for a couple seconds. You saw a few heads poke out then jump back out of sight.
Y/n: Alright. I saw you. Who are you and why are you spying on me?
???: It’s just that, you’re in our cave.
Y/n: Who’s “Our”?
??? My friends and I play in this cave. Though our parents said we shouldn’t come out here so soon after that storm as there might be trees that haven’t fallen yet.
Y/n: I don’t mean to be in your way. It’s just that I can’t leave this cave.
???: Why?
Y/n: I have a bad condition.
???: What is it?
Y/n in thoughts: Do I really have to fabricate an entire backstory?
Y/n: I get really sunburnt easily and it hurts bad to the point where I can move anymore. So I’m in this cave to hide from the sun. So come out. I couldn’t approach you even if I wanted to.
The kid slowly walked out and he was followed by three other kids. The kid you were talking to had glossy brown hair with a hint of purple in it. He had cherry blossom eyes.
Y/n: What’s your name?
Toshiharu: I’m Toshiharu, and these are my friends.
The girl with cream colored hair and mocha eyes spoke up.
Sumidori: I’m Sumidori.
She had a beautiful aura around her. Something about her just screamed that she’s the childhood friend you never deserved. The next kid spoke up.
Takanase: My name is Takanase.
He had caramel eyes with bluish gray hair. He’s probably the most calm of the group. Then the last kid spoke.
Tatsuzumi: And I’m Tatsuzumi.
She had white hair and red eyes. Probably the most outgoing and adventurous of the group. You got the making of the best friend group of the year right here.
Tatsuzumi: Now it’s your turn. Who the heck are you?
Y/n: My name is Y/n.
Tatsuzumi: Your parents must have hated you because that’s a dumb name.
Toshiharu: Tatsuzumi, quiet!
Tatsuzumi: He’s in our cave! I’m not gonna let some stranger just stink up our cave!
Takanase: Wait. He has a sword and special robes. He’s probably a demon Slayer.
