Chapter 43: ReAwakening

You woke up on the cold, dark, hard ground. You started coughing and couldn't stop choking. You felt as if your whole body was cramping and it hurt to move. You couldn't see from how dark it was. You heard sword slashing and fighting going on. Your vision was blurry.

Y/n: Where- Where am I?

Your vision slowly faded in and you could just barely make it out. Someone was jumping around and slicing a ribbon? Your vision slowly restored. You saw it was Inosuke fighting... the demon? He found it?!

Y/n in thoughts: How did I get here? Who cares? I gotta help.

The ribbon Inosuke was fighting had a face? It was hideous! You looked up and saw a section of the ribbon hanging above you.

Y/n in thoughts: I don't know what's going on, but I'll help as much as I can!

You tried reaching for your swords but couldn't feel them. You looked down.

Y/n in thoughts: I forgot! We took our swords off for our disguises!

All of a sudden, some muscular mice walked up wearing mini-scale headbands exactly like Uzui's. They were repeating the words, "Muscle! Muscle!" over and over again.

Y/n in thoughts: What the?

The little mice walked up to you and gave you your swords. You picked them up.

Y/n: Uhh. Thank you, little, muscular mice.

Mice: Muscle! Muscle!

Y/n: Okay?...

You sliced the ribbons and jumped up.

Y/n: Guess who's back?!

Inosuke and the ribbon looked up.

Inouke: Huh?

Ribbon: The demon!

Y/n: Blood Demon Art. Born Of Fire!

An explosion of fire shot out from around you and burned the ribbon sections to ash. You started slicing the ribbons as you fell and you landed.

Inosuke: Y/n!

Y/n: You didn't think I'd lose that easily, did you?

Inosuke: Where the hell were you?

Y/n: Uhh. I have no clue. I was in Makio's room and I found a small hole in the roof and everything went black. Sorry I got captured!

Inosuke: Save it for after we beat this thing!

Y/n: Right!

Ribbon: You filthy demon!

Your face was cut by a ribbon that flew after you. The massive ribbon was wrapped all around in a massive pit in the ground.

Y/n: Where are we?

Inosuke: In the demon's food chamber, where this ribbon drags down humans to eat.

Y/n: Disgusting!

You were wrapped up by the ribbon and it threw you into a wall and you dropped your swords.

Inosuke: Y/n!

You had just woken up from being inside that thing and you're already pushing your body to move. Inosuke rushed at the demon and tried slicing its head off but it went limp and started flapping.

Inosuke: I can't slash it when it's flapping like that!

The ribbon broke free and rushed at Inosuke's head but he jumped back. In a split second, Inosuke dodged the ribbon's attack and the ribbon slammed into the ground.
