Chapter 25 (Final Chapter)

Alessandro Davien's POV.

Habang naglalakad sa tabing dagat at pasimpleng tumatanaw lang sa malaking buwan na umiilaw sa karagatan, my attention was caught by a girl who was walking towards the deepness of the ocean. I thought she was just having a night swimming pero naalarma na ako nang malapit nang umabot sa leeg niya ang tubig. I immediately ran towards the sea and pulled her out from there.

"What have gotten into your mind? Are you planning to kill yourself?!" I shouted.

I got pissed, yes. Because I feel like I was disturbed by other people. I am all wet at nabasa pa ang phone ko. But when I saw her crying, my irritation faded.

Ang mala-anghel niyang mukha at ang mga luha ay nagpapayag sa akin na isama siya.

Hindi naman ugali ko ang tumulong at kaawaan ang ibang tao pero iba siya.

Then I knew why she was here in my resort. It's because of her fiance who cheated on her.

Gusto kong sapakin ang fiance niyang niloko siya because she couldn't give her virginity right away. Hindi naman ako 'yong dapat i-admire pero sobrang lang ng ex-fiance niya. But somehow, there's a part of me that was being relieve because she wasn't married to that jerk.

He doesn't deserve her.

She tried to seduce but I know that it was just the effect of the alcohol. But I am just a man. Natutukso rin. I am no saint and I admit that I am also a jerk for taking advantage of her condition. She was drunk but I guess she know what she was doing.

But I'll take responsibility of her. Tomorrow, we'll talk about what happened.

That night we savoured each other's body. I have taken her virginity, and that night, I have decided that she will be the one I want to marry.

When the morning came, nagising nalang ako nang wala na siya sa tabi ko. Nilibot ko ang buong resort pero wala na siya doon.

Then suddenly, naalala ko ang sinambit niya kagabi when she was moaning in pleasure.

"Corazon..."

"Engineer, wala po talagang Corazon na nag-check in dito. Na-double check ko na rin po pero wala po talaga."

Iyan ang sabi ng receptionist dito sa resort ko.

Dumaan ang mga araw at mga buwan ngunit hindi pa rin ako tumitigil sa paghahanap kay Corazon. I even hired a private investigator to search for that girl named Corazon but I failed dahil Corazon lang naman ang naalala ko at wala nang iba pang mga information bukod sa size ng bra niya.

Ang tanging naiwan lang na alaala ko sa kanya ay ang panty at ang bedsheet na may mantsa ng dugo ni Mika.

I kept it and been fantasizing it everytime na maalala ko siya.

Itinigil ko na ang paghahanap sa kanya at sa halip, tinuon ko nalang ang atensyon ko sa trabaho — sa pagiging engineer. I already accepted some projects to distract myself from thinking about that woman I had one night stand with. Pero kahit kailan, hindi siya nawala sa isip ko.

"Engineer Clemente, I just want to invite you to my mother's birthday party. I hope you'd come. Pangit naman kasi kung hindi ka pupunta dahil lahat ng kasamahan natin, pupunta tapos ikaw hindi..." Engineer Salazar said and handed me the invitation card.

Napaisip ako sandali since I am not fund of going to parties but since Engineer Salazar is quite nice, I decided to go.

Magsasabay sana kami ng mga co-engineers ko but I decided na humabol nalang dahil matatagalan pa ako.
