We need to talk

*Jess POV*

After dinner, everyone decides to go in the chill room and play a game of monopoly. i am always one character and i cant let anyone else be that character, so i have to dibs it.

Jess- DIBS THE HAT!!

Jordan- alright no need to shout BUT I WANT TO BE THE BOAT

Jess- no need to shout Jords *both laugh*

The game goes and Lucy is the dog, Keira is the cat, Leah is the car, Ella is the trex which i think is new because i dont remember there being a trex as a kid, Beth is the boot, Georgia is the thimble and Viv is the wheelbarrow.

by the end of the game, i came last because i suck at monopoly and waste all my money so i was bankrupt and everybody else closely followed. it was down to Beth and Lucy to determine the winner, as competitive as they both are there can only be one winner. Beth. Beth won.

After the very long, funny game of monopoly we decided it was time to go chill in bed since it was half 12 in the morning. I head upstairs and all the girls were chilling in Ella's room. i bumped into Leah going into our room and she just simply said 'we need to talk'.

I followed her silently into her room and she sat down on the bed. i just stood there, waiting for her to talk.

Leah- you can sit down you know

Jess- *sits down at the opposite side of the bed* whats up? if its about what happened earlier then im sorry

Leah- you dont need to apologise. i just want to make sure your okay, you have fresh wounds on your arms. thats what i want to talk about 

Jess- oh yeah sorry 

Leah- you need to stop apologising. just talk to me, why?

Jess- because i was in pain. i wanted it to stop Leah. im a bad person and i hurt you and im sorry 

Leah- seeing you in pain Jessie is causing a lot more hurt than what i had. please just talk to me next time 

Jess- thats the thing Lee i cant promise that. i cant talk when i feel like that 

Leah- Jessie listen to me. everytime you feel like hurting yourself, i want you to come up to me, come find me, wherever i am, find me, bring me in here and hurt me instead 

Jess- Lee no i cant do that 

Leah- why not? its exactly what youve been doing to yourself 

Jess- its different when its myself

Leah- it is no different whether its me or you that gets hurt Jess, youre a person too. just because youre hurting and youre in pain, that doesnt make you any less of a person. and that smile you put on, you dont have to around me. if you dont feel like it that day, let me know. after training we can  come up here and chill 

Jess- thank you Leah 

Leah- its what friends do Jessie *hugs Jess*

Hearing all of that, what she had to say, it put it into some sort of perspective for me, if i couldnt be okay hurting anyone else, why am i okay hurting myself. also that last sentence she said 'thats what friends are for' that hit hard. it made me remember everything. how were not together anymore, how i broke her heart because i couldnt be strong willed enough to try the distance and how much i want to be with her, not just friends with her. but i dont know how she feels and anyway ive blown my chances now after how things ended last time. 

Jess- im going to bed

Leah- okay beautiful, see you in the morning. remember were going out with the girls so dont be up too late

Jess- i wont be dont worry. Night Leah 

Leah- night Jessie

I love how she looks out for me so much. 

i go into my room and get ready for bed, soon Jordan walks in and starts questioning me. 

Jordan- hey, you just get back up here? 

Jess- no, i was with Leah 

Jordan- Leah huh? when did that start back up? 

Jess- were friends Jords

Jordan- yeah.. we'll see 

Jess- maybe

Jordan- you want her back dont you?

Jess- yes but i dont want to risk rejection and lose what we have. were only just becoming friends again

Jordan- oh please Scottie, she would be silly to reject you

Jess- not after what ive done

Jordan- its been forgiven hasnt it?

Jess- not verbally, that i know of. im going to sleep 

Jordan- night Scottie

Jess- night Jords 

*Lucy POV*

After the stressful but funny game of monopoly we all headed to bed. Me and Keira are just lying in bed chatting away when she decides to bring up the whole Jess and Leah situation.

Keira- do you think they'll get back together?

Lucy- who?

Keira- Jess and Leah

Lucy- I don't know, there seems to be a whole love triangle going on at the minute

Keira- what do you mean? Love triangle?

Lucy- yeah with Jess and Leah and Jordan

Keira- babe Jess and Jordan are just friends

Lucy- they may aswell be together. They already act like they are and they're always flirting

Keira- that is true actually. But I still think Jess still likes Leah

Lucy- maybe she does but it's obvious that Leah still likes her. I actually think they're friends again now

Keira- finally, the tension between them was unbearable

Lucy- I know tell me about it.

Keira- *laughs*

Lucy- I want to take you out tomorrow

Keira- we're out with the girls tomorrow?

Lucy- yeah I mean afterwards. A date night is well overdue for us.

Keira- very true. Date night it is

Lucy- can't wait. We will go out with the girls then go out with the two of us afterwards

Keira- sorted, can't wait

After that she slowly falls asleep still cuddled into me.

Lucy- goodnight Keira, I love you

Keirs- *half asleep* I love you too Luce

A/N guys ive gone through the chapters and edited a few bits from some of them. My atrocious grammar has been fixed you'll be happy to know 😂 and I have made some changes for "I have an announcement" and "I like you" if anyone wants to go back through and read those again for the changes you're more than welcome to - (changes made 4th September)  but it doesn't change the rest of the story or storyline so it's not essential to reread them x
