The man didn't move. He sat still in the tree but his eyes were looking directly towards us.
There was no life in them.
Dottore stopped and let out another laugh.
"How easy was this! What a foolish little man..."
Dottore stalked closer until he was only a few feet away.
I didn't want to get any closer. Something about this whole situation was just strange. I couldn't sense any life in this man so how were we in his mind?
I crossed my hands as I watched him.
Dottore turned back to look at me with a grin.
"He is not alive so what is he?" My face stayed stoic as I asked.
Dottore shrugged.
"Well hes not human and hes barely alive but once I'm done he definitely won't be."
Thunder rumbled around us and we looked back at the tree.
The man sitting seemed to almost be studying us.
I snickered as Dottore grabbed onto the tree and tried to jump up to a branch to climb it.
He sent a glare back in my direction and I looked back at the man.
Dottore was one branch away from him.
I must say though watching him climb was entertaining.
"You little bastard I've got you now."
Dottore reached up to grab the final branch and then the mans head snapped.
Both of us froze and Dottores eyes went huge.
The man kicked his foot out and knocked Dottores remaining hand off the tree.
A gasp left his lips as he fell to the ground. His back hit it with a crack and I cringed at the noise.
"Can't even climb a tree yet you expect to take his mind?"
"Fuck you!" Dottore growled trying to sit up.
The man in the tree smirked as he stared down at Dottore.
