Chapter 27: Traitor

{Narrative}

Somewhere near the east of the woods, an eerie mansion sits place covered by tall trees barely revealing a wall. Jay B sat patiently in his office as he waits for someone. He hummed as he sways himself a bit in his revolving chair with Mark standing beside him

"Mark, have you informed the others about not eating our guest today?" Jay B asked

"Yes, but someone in particular seems to joke around about it and now I am currently restraining him in his room just in case" The archer talked about Yugeom who earlier was already waiting at the door to jump at the visitor as a joke, but Mark caught him and thought he was serious and had tied the young boy in a chair in his own bedroom

Jay B sighed fully expecting this to happen when it comes to Yugeom. No one in the group would eagerly care if there is a human "visitor", but coming into their grounds as a potential meal, you'll be seeing monsters sinking their teeth into your flesh as a last image before crossing the other side

"Has he ever been serious through the centuries?" Jay B paused for a moment, "That was an idiotic question, I regret saying it out loud" 

Mark couldn't help but scoff a bit to release a bit of his giggles. He wasn't gonna die or receive any harsh punishments if he did laughed, Jay B wouldn't harm any of his own members despite being a cruel opponent against Namjoon's own group. It's quite adoring to know for blood thirsty creatures

Youngjae knocked on the door before peaking his head inside, "Excuse me for intruding, but she's here"

"That's wonderful, let's have a better information about Y/N. Let her in" Jay B fixed his sitting position as a familiar silhouette enters the office

"Ah... welcome back once again, Dahyun"

The girl stood by the door as Youngjae shuts it from behind. Dahyun, the snitch, the spy, and the mole who's always on Y/N's tail keeping track of her ever since the day Y/N got attacked 

"How's your day been?" Jay B smiled. The girl still trembles a bit despite meeting them for a long time, she was still aware that most of them aren't human which makes her use the safer options frequently when it comes to them. "I'm... fine..." She gulped

Jay B laughed a bit before motioning her to sit down across him. "Now, what can you tell me? Any information about Y/N I'll take it"

Dahyun took a deep breath, "She still hasn't go to school after the attack, the teacher who visited their address was still traumatized from the sight that he is still on break while someone substitutes us"

"Glad he enjoyed the pieces of art we left" Jay B grinned having his psychopathic personality still in touch

"The police gave up the search and just presumed her dead since no one knows where she is nor do they have any clue for a possible lead" 

"Ah ah... No one knows, except us but you" Jay B's sweet tone is making her shiver, It is better than hearing him get angry, but his persona can either change or slowly build up into something sinister

"Y-Yes... I'm aware..." She fiddled her fingers getting nervous to the possible future outcomes. "But... yesterday, I saw her at a shop near town. She was with someone"

Jay B leans a bit getting quite interested, "Are you sure that was her?" Dahyun nodded, "Yes, I've been long enough in her class to memorize what she looks like"

"The confidence you're having Dahyun, you better make sure you're giving me the correct person" Jay B's words made her heart drop. She was sure it was Y/N, she knows that her hair color, face features, and body structure match perfectly to Y/N. But now that he said that, she wasn't so sure anymore

"I-I'm sure... they even caused ruckus that caused a crowd. No one seemed to recognize her than me... The place was also near mine so I was lucky enough to see her..." She just trusted what she saw but her hands were cold and sweaty as she tries to stop herself from shaking
