I woke up and stretched out my muscles, it was quite surprising since I've always woken up later than the others. I heard a tap on the window so I decided to check it out. It was Jungkook! I opened the window and whispered to him "What are you doing here Kookie?"
"Nothing... Just checking up on you " his tone sounded sad. Did something happen to him? Why does he look upset about something?
"Jungkook, I think you're really sad, what's wrong?" There's sorrow in his eyes, something's not right here.
"My hyungs forbid me to see you again, they found out that I've been sneaking out the house just to see you," he said sadly
"Is that so? I'll miss you Kookie, hope we'll see each other again"
"Bye, please don't forget about me" he then returned from the woods. That was our goodbyes to each other
"Y/N?" I got alarmed with the voice, it was Arielle. She was awake, but I hope she didn't saw me and Kookie talking to each other or I'll be dead
"Ari, you're awake! Did you heard anything?"
"Heard what?" She asked still half asleep
"Nothing... So why are you awake so early Ari? I don't think I've heard a nun in the hallways yet" I sat beside her bed
"I think my body woke up first before I do, I don't know why. Maybe because I was kinda used to it being woken up this early" Arielle rubbed her eyes and yawned. She's such a sweet and cute little bean
Just then, a nuns' voice rang out the halls along with a nun opening each door to make sure all the kids are awake for breakfast. Ollie and Adam finally woke up, they saw me and Arielle already awake
"Well this is a first, I can't believe Y/N here is already awake. How did that happen?" Ollie started
"Oh shut up Ollie, people can change," I said
"Technically, you haven't changed at all, except for you being awake earlier than the nuns waking us up" He rolled his eyes and wore his slippers
"Come on, that's still an improvement, right Adam?" Arielle asked Adam who immediately snapped his head up
"Yes! It is!"
Is he blushing a bit? His face is showing a tint of pink. Well, it's because little Adam here has a crush on my best friend Arielle. How did I know about that? I found out myself, it was pretty obvious, every time me and Ari we're playing, I always see him staring at us from the corner of my eyes, he also goes nervous and became extra shy when she's around. I once left them alone on a room and Adam was a complete tomato. And that is the story of how I found out about Adam's little secret. They would make a cute couple and make cute babies!!
"Whatever you say, it still doesn't change a fact that she's Mischief Y/N," Ollie said before putting the toothbrush inside his mouth
"That sounds like a pretty good title, not gonna lie," I said with confidence
*Time Skip*
After getting ready for breakfast, we head down the dining room and took our places. I sat with Arielle as usual, that's when I saw yellow eyes, and when there's a pair of yellow eyes, there's Jungkook, he was standing behind the tree where I met him. But I thought he left and said he was forbidden to see me, why is he here again?
"Hey, I'll be right back," I said before standing up, but Ari grabbed my arm before I could even take a step
"Where are you going?"
"To the bathroom, my tummy is aching a bit"
"I told you not to eat at midnight again," Annoying Ollie said
I ran to the direction of the bathroom but I turned to head outside. I ran to the tree hopefully not being seen
"Kookie! What are you doing here?"
"Y/N, I need you to get out of that place"
"I wish I could, but no one wants to adopt me you know. Unless you want to, you could just adopt me and I'll live with you and your hyungs then I could be your sister and you'll be--- "
"Listen, you have to focus on what I'm going to say, little princess. You have to get out here, or maybe just hide or something, just don't stay here" he sounds scared, what's going to happen now?
"Why? What's wrong?" I asked curiously
"Remember about what I said about keeping our existence?"
"Yes, I promised not to tell anyone about it"
"We are not the only monsters in the woods little princess, there are a lot of us. A lot more" he made eye contact with me which made me feel more worried, he was really serious about this one
"They're coming to get you, all of you! Please get out of there" he pleaded
"But no one's gonna listen to me! How will I get everyone out?" I said with tears slowly forming in my eyes
"At least save a few, just be safe Y/N," he said before transforming into a......
Snake? But the last time he disappeared he had paws. Now he's a black snake?
Anyways, I returned to the dining room and tapped Arielle's shoulder, she turned and looked at me with a smile on her face
"We need to get out of here," I said
"Oh come on, this again? I know you want to get out here Y/N, but you know that we can only escape until we turned 18 or get adopted"
"I know, what I mean is that we have to hide and get out of this place"
"You planned another trick, didn't you? Oh Y/N, when will you learn?" Ollie crossed his arms and looked at me annoyingly, I don't mind leaving him behind since he's a literal headache
"Whatever, let's go, Ari, Adam come with us" I pulled Ari by her arm and walked away from the table with Adam following not so far behind
"Y/N! Where are we going!?" She asked me, I didn't respond and just continue to pull her into one of the rooms. We ended up in our room and I told them to hide under the bed or in the bathroom. I locked the doors and closed the windows
"Y/N, this is a bit too safe for a prank," Arielle said
"No matter what happens, we need to-- " I was interrupted by something breaking in the kitchen. We soon heard growls and screams
"What was that!? Y/N, what did you do now!?" Arielle shouted
"It wasn't a prank! I didn't build up to something this time! There are monsters out there!"
"Monsters!?" Adam shivered in fear
"We need to be quiet, they might hear us," I said
We all we could hear are screams, footsteps, cries, pleads and growling coming from the creatures outside. Everything went completely silent for a moment until we heard the doorknob rattle. I covered Ari's mouth to stop her whimpers
What's gonna happen to us now?
