[ CHAPTER FIFTEEN: Constant Smiles ]

TWO WEEKS LATER...

ADRIANNA AND MIGUEL WERE STILL FLIRTY MESSES, nothing more, yet. "See, you can do it." Miguel looked up at her, "I know, I just want an excuse to hang out with you though." Miguel shrugged. Adrianna laughed lightly.

"It's our last week before Christmas break." Adrianna reminded him, "We should have another sleepover on Friday." Miguel suggested, "Why? Because you want to sleep on my bed again?" Adrianna teased.

"Obviously, it's super comfy, but I couldn't really sleep on the actual bed because someone was taking up the whole bed." Miguel grinned at her, "In my defense, it's my bed. And nobody comes to my house for sleepovers anymore." Adrianna shrugged.

"True... we could have a movie night!" Miguel suggested, "... romantic Christmas movies?" Adrianna butted in, "Whatever you want." Miguel smiled over at her.

LAST DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS BREAK...

"I can't believe this is the last day..." Brianna dramatically sighed, "I know! I can't believe we can hang out this break." Dahlia frowned, "Yeah, since you're going to Hawaii!" Miguel laughed.

"True, but still." Dahlia sighed again, "I don't want to be gone and something happens." Dahlia reasoned, "What do you mean? Like what?" Adrianna laughed as she questioned. "Oh— uhm, well you know..." Dahlia seemed nervous. "Anyway..." Adrianna furrowed her eyebrows before looking away.

"We should hang out!" Brianna looked at Adrianna with a smile. "Oh! Yeah!" Adrianna nodded.

"Miguel!" Adrianna yelled as she ran up to him, grabbing onto his backpack, quickly pulling him back. "Oh hey, I was just looking for you." Miguel smiled down at her. "Oh," Adrianna said.

"Ready to go?" She asked him, "Yeah!" Miguel nodded, grabbing her hand. Their fingers laced together, tightly. Adrianna walked beside him, swinging their hands together. "We should watch 13 Going On 30," Adrianna suggested.

They both laid on Adrianna's floor, staring at the ceiling as they were trying to catch their breath from the many 'Just Dance' battles. "Adrian!" Jacob yelled, "Oh god." Adrianna groaned. "What?" Adrianna yelled back. "What should we have for dinner?" Jacob asked her, staring down at his phone.

"We already planned on ordering food," Adrianna said, "We?" Jacob questioned, looking up, "Oh, hey Miguel!" Jacob walked in fully, walking over and bending down to dab up Miguel. "Why're you guys on the floor?" Jacob furrowed his eyebrows at the two tired and sweaty teens.

"Just Dance battles," Miguel explained, "Oh god, Adrian got you into that?" Jacob asked, "Quit calling me Adrian." Adrianna groaned. "My bad, Adrian." Jacob shrugged. "Order me something!" Jacob yelled as he walked out, closing the door.

"So... Adrian—
"No."

"Anyways... Adrianna?" Miguel hesitated as he sat up, Adrianna furrowed her eyebrows as she did the same. "Yes... Miguel?" Adrianna smiled as he hesitation. "I was wondering if..." Miguel started.

"If I, could be... your... boyfriend?" His voice went quiet at the end of it, Adrianna laughed. "Hm..." Adrianna acted as she thought. "No... I don't like in that way, those kisses were just nothing." Adrianna joked, making Miguel ease up a bit and smiled. "Haha, you're so funny." Miguel rolled his eyes.

"No... but really... can I?" Miguel asked again, "Obviously." Adrianna smiled, pulling Miguel into a kiss quickly. Both smiling into the kiss as they both sat on the wooden floor.
