two weeks passed by, and it was now senior night for the lacrosse players.

everyone was showing up with their little appreciation poster boards for their players and what not.

you made one for chris, even though it was a little small. you liked it that way, though. big, flashier things didn't mean much anyway.

"how come you never told me your dad was the coach?" marylou asked you, suprised.

"whatttt? who told you that?"

"i connected the dots on my own! the coach has your last name. you guys look alike too."

"what if i told you he's not my dad?"

"nice try." chris's mom narrowed her eyes.

"ANDREW BAKER!"

everyone clapped, and the dudes parents came down to the field.

"why don't you wanna come with us when we take pictures with chris?" marylou asks you.

"because, um, you know! they're family pictures and stuff."

"you're basically one of us now!"

"you're so sweet." you frown.

"c'mon y/n!" marylou insisted.

"okay.." you groaned.

"THESE NEXT TWO ARE BROTHERS! CHRIS AND MATT STURNIOLO!"

everyone began to clap.

you felt your stomach sink a little, knowing that your dad would be wondering what you were doing on the field.

-

"y/n..?" matt gasped.

you shrugged, and stood next to chris.

"you finally told your dad?" chris whispered to you.

"no.."

"then what are you doing over here?"

"i told her to come take a picture with us!" marylou tells chris.

you looked over at your dad, and caught him staring right at you.

"congrats matt, congrats chris," you pull away from them.

"where are you going?"

"i'll meet you at the bleachers in a second!" you tell marylou.

"okay!"

"hey dad." you smile nervously.

"so you know them?" he crosses his arms.

"i guess you could say that?"

"is that why you asked me about the guys on the team?"

"no!?" you say defensively.

"what's up with you guys?" your dad raises his brows. "i'm confused."

"nothing much," you start walking away. "i'll see you at home!"

"Y/N—"

after the game, marylou asked if you wanted to spend the rest of the day with them.

obviously you said yes.

"what'd your dad say?" matt giggled.
