"Go, go, go! Go, go!" Maya yelled pushing them to work harder "Miller, you're getting a little slow! Remember, it's smoky, you can't see. Follow through!"
She walked by y/n who ran with the hose over her shoulder before looking at warren next to her "You can do better than that!" She then went to another group "Hand over hand! Yes, yes, yes!"
She had been working them hard ever since she became captain and they all hated it

"This'll recharge everybody's batteries." Ben said pouring smoothies
"Is there anything sadder than an empty jar of peanut butter?" Miller asked looking at it "B-shift is always doing this. They empty the jar, and then they put it back in the shelf."
"Don't look at me." Rigo shook his head
"Maybe you should just hide it behind the oatmeal." Ben offered
"A grown man should not have to hide his peanut butter, Ben." Miller gave him a serious look
"Do you want the chunky or not?" Ben shrugged
'You know what I'm gonna do?" Miller pointed as y/n walked into the room
"What" she asked not knowing what they were talking about
"I'm gonna write a note." Dean nodded "no more empty peanut butter"
"Oh. How civilized." Vic looked over at him
"Good for you." Travis mouthed
"Don't bother. Everybody's trying to transfer to 81 anyways." Rigo shrugged
"Shut the hell up, Rigo." Dean rolled his eyes at the man
"If I could get your attention for a moment." Maya walked in
"And in walks the reason." Rigo said under his breath before taking a sip of water
"I know this transition has been hard on you all." Maya continued "So I wanted to extend an invitation. A team camping trip. This weekend. A chance for us to relax and get reacquainted with each other."
"It's winter." Jack looked at her bewildered
"It's unseasonably warm." She remarked back
"By day." Y/n said looking up from the note she was helping Miller write
"That's what a campfire's for." Maya smiled
"I prefer my bed." Vic fake smiled at her
"Your presence is strongly encouraged." Maya smiled back "We depart Station 19 at 700 hours. Bring your families, significant others, whoever. I expect you to be punctual and prepared for fun!"
May's walked away and Andy spoke up mouth full of cereal "Oh, good. Mandatory fun."
"Awesome." Jack nodded

"Guys, this is Eva. The Mrs." Rigo said walking in with her, y/n's heart dropped at the sight of the girl "This is Gibson, the guy I was telling you about."
"You talking about me to your wife?" Jack asked facing Rigo obviously trying to cover up his nervous face
"Eh, just a little pillow talk." He shrugged
"So, uh, where's JJ?" Y/n asked Miller as she pried her eyes away from Jack
"I don't know." Dean shrugged "Off doing baby stuff that doesn't include me." He then faced Jack "Avery coming?"
"Uh, yeah." Vic nodded "He's gonna meet us up there after his surgery."
"Hey, just remember, this is a work event, so if I hear sex sounds coming from your tent, I can sue." Y/n told her pointing at her
