The morning of at her shift everyone was in the locker room getting dressed for the shift.
"Look, can we just try and-" Emmett said as y/n and jack walked in
"Ey oh! " jack announced their arrival
"Hey. What's up?" Y/n asked them as she went to her locker to change
"What's going on?"
"Hey, you see the, uh..." Jack thought for a moment before coming up with the words "the old timers in the beanery? Crazy stories, man."
"Oh, yeah?"
"Yeah." Y/n smiled
"Yeah, this one dude, Charlie, he was telling me about how they had to do a water rescue in the middle of a hurricane. Ended up giving CPR to a kitten!" Jack said chuckling
"Who told you that story?" Andy asked poking her head in from the bathroom Andy left as the others finished getting ready the klaxons going off seconds later
"Ladder 19, reported people trapped in a storage locker. 233 Fordham Street."
They all rushed to get their turnout gear on before quickly hopping onto the truck and setting off

They all piled out of the truck and headed into the storage unit
"Hi, um, can I help you?" The worker at the desk asked
"Yeah, we, uh... we got a call that a civilian is stuck inside a storage unit at this address?" Andy asked
"No, not that I heard."
"Yeah, we'll find them." Y/n told him as they went to walk forward
"Um, don't... don't you guys need a warrant for that?" He panicked
"It's a rescue." Andy shook her head "We don't need a warrant."
"Yeah, of course, of course." He nodded his head
"Everyone, head in and start searching." Maya told them before she went to the man to talk to him

"This place is a freakin' maze." Y/n spoke as she walked to where Maya had called for them to find
"Hurry, please!" Shouts we're heard and y/n found her way to them with the jaws
"All right, we're gonna pry the door open, guys." Maya said to them
"We can't breathe in here! Get us out!"
"They're not airtight, are they?" Maya faced the owner
"No, they got vents in 'em"
"Here we go." Y/n said getting down to open the door
The door opened fully and the smoke piled out of the room
"Watch out, watch out, watch out." Maya said as the people piled out of the room
"I told you not to smoke in there, bro." One of them spoke
"Man, I took one hit!"
"And lit the place on fire!"
"Montgomery, Dixon, get back to the truck and grab more extinguishers..." Maya spoke "now!"
"They need some O2." Andy raised her voice "Let's get them outside."
"Dispatch from Ladder 19. We need aid cars added to our incident for patients suffering from smoke inhalation." Maya spike as they led the people pit
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You gotta go save Louise."
"Someone else inside?" Y/n said as she headed for the storage unit
