BALLOONS POV

I swing my legs on the chair waiting for the others to come while talking with nickel, I saw oj and paper go in front of all the chairs. Holding paper's hand in one and a sheet of paper in the other. After a few minutes everyone got here and sat down.

Oj cleared his throat to get everyone's attention
"Okay everyone! I'm going to say this quickly so I don't bore you, I'll just say some rules and stuff" Oj looks down at the small sheet of paper, reading through it quickly. "Okayyy, so, some of the same rules as last time like there will be no alcoholic drinks, obviously. Also this party we decided to make things a little more interesting, I want everyone to dress up for it. Doesn't have to be too fancy or anything, just a bow tie or something would do." Nickels sighs
"Great" he gritted through his teeth
"Also I want you guys to have a dancing partner, just to go with the fancy theme." I look at nickel, he also glances at me. We both quickly turn away, was he thinking what I was thinking? "Oh and one last thing, unlike last time you don't need to stay for the whole thing, just the first two hours when you dance with your partner, then you can leave and do whatever you want. Just don't cause chaos or anything." Oj looks up "Okay I think that's everything, any questions?"
"When is this stupid thing happening?" Nickel calls out
"Tomorrow at 9 pm. Anything else?" There was a silence, oj took it as a no "Okay well then, you guys can go now" Everyone starts getting up, I walk to the staircase.
"Wait where are you going?" Nickel asks
"To our room?" I respond confused
"Why?"
"Because it pouring outside and there is nowhere else to go?"
"Oh right." Nickel follows me upstairs
"Soo, what are you going to wear for the party?" I try and strike up a conversation
"Honestly this feels like a ball if anything" He responds, completely ignoring my question
"Yeah it kinda does, is that a bad thing though?" Nickel shrugs, or at least what I think is a shrug. I go into my room and sit down on my bed, nickel flops down on his. Nickels crown was slightly falling off, he sits back up. The flowers were covering one of his eyes, he struggled to move it off. I go up to him "here" I move the crown back to its original place
"Thanks" I sit down next to him, there was a silence between us. It was a comfortable silence but I did also want to talk about the whole party, especially since I want to ask nickel to be my dance partner
"Soo-" I get off by thunder. I jump letting out a small squeak, oh no is there a storm? nickel laughs.
"What's so funny?" I said in a offended tone. I hope this is only a short storm, My astraphobia (fear of thunder/storms) can really mess me up, usually it's not too bad though I just hope I can play this off.
"Nothing, it's just did you just get scared by thunder?" Nickel laughed, I felt a little embarrassed.
"Yeah so!? It just surpri- AH!" I scream as I hear the thunder, the rain was banging on my window. It gets more frequent, it was so loud, the consant tapping on the window just added onto it. I cover my head with my hands so I could try and block out the sounds i bring my knees to my chest, it's okay balloon it's just some thunder, don't let your fear get to you! I shut my eyes tightly taking in deep breaths to calm down, I didn't want nickel to see me like this.
"Oh, uh hey are you okay? If your genuinely scared of the thunder, I didn't mean to make fun of that" I slowly reopen my eyes only to see a genuine look of concern on nickels face, only to shut them once more when I hear the rumbling again, I could feel as my body tensed up and my breathing gets slowly faster, I wish everything would just stop.
"S-sorry I'm just.." my voice cracks. Everything is turning into a blur. All of the noise and sounds combine into one, someone was talking.

I can't hear.
I don't want to hear, I feel scared.
I just want everything to shut up..please shut up.
