BALLOONS POV
I yawn, geez I feel so tired what time is it?
"Hey nickel, what time is it?" I sit up on the pillow. Nickel sitting next to me on his bed.
"Uhh, it's 8:35 why?"
"Huh already? Just wanted to check" It's only 8 why am I feeling so tired.
"K" Nickel goes back to doing whatever he was doing on his phone. I don't feel like going on my phone, I just kinda sit staring ahead of me.
Just thinking about anything really, scenarios, things that happened, ni- specific people. Zoning out, I subconsciously slouch back into the pillow, my eyes coming to a close. I lean onto nickel, he slightly jumped. I somewhat put my hands around him and smile, I quickly feel myself falling asleep

Ugh..what is that?
...i put my hand onto my eyes to block out a bright light, trying to fall back asleep
But as much as I tried, I couldn't.
Seriously what is that light, it's blinding! Didn't I just fall asleep?
I feel the ground below with my other hand to realise it's grass, grass!? Where's nickel? I quickly sit up opening my eyes, before realising how bright this sun actually is. I look down, my hand blocking out the sun.
Flowers? I didn't fall asleep in the flower field again did I? No I couldn't of, unless someone brought me there? But who would even do that.

My eyes got used to the sun by now, I look around. The sky it's...purple? Blue?
Well this sure isn't the field, but uh where am I? It feels familiar, but not because it looks similar to the field, it just feels like I've been here before. Now that I look at it, it doesn't even look anything like the field, I mean for starters THE SKY IS LITERALLY PURPLE, not to mention that the trees here are different than the ones over there. The grass is lighter and the flowers here are way shorter and different, I probably wouldn't be able to make flower crowns here.
Maybe I just don't remember being here, my memory is pretty bad. I think for a second, zoning out onto the flowers. Where have I seen this before? Am I the only one here? Where is nickel?
Weird sky...flowers...red. Wait why did I think of red? It's not like the flowers are red, actually I don't even see any.

This whole thing makes it seem as if I'm in..a...dream-
I pinch myself, to my surprise it doesn't hurt, I didn't even feel it!
Phew, glad to know that I wasn't kidnapped or something.
A dream! That's it, that's where I recognise this place from, it's where nickel..um- Anyway! Speaking of nickel, isn't he usually in these dreams with me? I stand up, well it can't hurt to look around.

I walk around, looking in the grass trying to spot him. Didn't take me long to notice a shiny object in the grass, laying face down. I run up to him, checking if he's okay. Just sleeping, I sigh of relief. I should wake him up.

"Hey nickel wake up" I say softly, slightly shaking him.
"Nghh- whatt?" He groans
"I said wake up nickel"
"Ughh, whyy?" I think of the first thing that comes to mind
"Uhhh..because I want you to?"
"Mmm, fine." He sits himself up, his eyes tightly shut at the light. "Geez it's bright" he says still groaning "Uh, Where are we?"
"No idea, just as clueless as you, yep!" Nickel looks at me with a confused expression, he could see through my lie.
"Uh okay then" Nickel continues to look around, "You sure you don't know where we are?"
"Mhm" I smile nervously,to my surprise nickel sighs and just goes with it.

"Well, what now?" He asks
"Hm?"
"I mean what should we do?"
"Hm, I don't know" we fall silent
I glance at nickel, he looks ahead of us staring at all the flowers, trees and the never ending field. But it didn't look like he was actually looking at them, isthathowIlookwhenIzoneout- Nickel looks kinda confused, or maybe worried? Sad? Whatever it is, it's not a positive emotion. "You okay?" He snaps out of it and turns to look at me
"What, yeah I'm fine, Why?"
"I don't know, I guess you kinda look worried?" He looks away
"I told you, I'm fine." He mumbles
"You know you can talk about it if you want, I won't judge or anything"
"I don't think you would judge, its just..complicated I guess"
"I could try to understand? I mean only if you want to-"
"Fine, just give me a minute on how to say this" I nod "So say, hypothetically speaking, you wanted to do this thing for this other person for a while, but you just couldn't bring yourself to do it because it would be weird for the both of you, or at least it's what you think. And um your friend asks you when you're gonna do it, and you say uh for example in three weeks or something, but now I- I mean you, think on why you even agreed on it at all and feel nervous about it, which you never do! And what if h-they react badly to it, then it would be literally so embarrassing and stupid of you to done it in the first place. And it's just- ugh I don't know" he flops down onto the grass. "What would you do?" I look at him thinking on what to say.
"How close is this friend?"
"I mean not like friends who talk all the time but I guess just you trust them"
"Then I would talk about it with this friend, if yo- I mean if 'I' trust them then they would understand if you're not ready to do this thing" nickel sits up
"It's not that I'm not ready, I guess I'm just.." he sighs "..scared.." he mutters, his eyes focused on the ground. "God that is so embarrassing to admit" he says to himself
"I don't think it is, it's normal, even if you don't think so"
"Even if you're right...still that doesn't really help with anything, it's just annoying to feel" I think for a second on how to phrase this

"Well I think you should do this thing, even if you're scared, the person should be at least understanding right? And if not than that's their problem!" I give him a smile, he looks at me and gives me a small smile that quickly faded
"I just...don't know, I don't know why I'm feeling all this" he looks down again I continue to look at him
"Nickel.."

Without thinking,

I lean closer and...

And kiss him right on the cheek

Nickel's eyes widen
"Di-did you j-just-" his face becomes bright red, he tries to speak but all that comes out are incomprehensible mumbles and noises. Adorable.
"I'm sure whatever it is, it'll turn out fine" I smile, nickel continues to look at me surprised with a sloppy smile on his face, too flustered to even speak. I giggle, his face was just..priceless

Though
It doesn't matter what I just did
it's just a dream,
and if we do share dreams?
Well, guess I'll find out in the morning.
