Danger

Rimuru POV

It's been a few weeks since Youm and his party joined us and thanks to training from Grandpa Hakurou, they finally look like proper champions! Now, we said our goodbyes to them as they departed to Falmuth to deliver the news of the Orc Lord's defeat along with some fictional details.

"Now that's one problem solved!" I sighed in relief

"Yeah!"

"Rimuru-sama! Shion and I will be taking a bath in the hot springs together, do you want to join us?" Shuna asks

"I would love to, but I have a meeting with Fuze soon. I need to talk to him about some business related to Blumund. Let's do that next time, okay?" I said, trying to comfort the two pouting girls

Oh, the hot springs... It's simply amazing! We have a normal bathhouse too, but our hot springs are rejuvenating too since the water source came from the nearby mountains.

"Milim! Don't cause any trouble to Eren-chan and the others, okay?" I called

"Okay!"

We waved the three adventurers off as they brought Milim with them to go for some hunting in the forest. The boys scattered to do their duties while the girls brought me to the hot springs. I had to make them put me down since they didn't want to let go.

"I promise, we'll go in together next time okay?" I comforted them again

"Okay..."

I waved them off and slithered off to the resting area to see Fuze sipping on some beer.

"Fuze! Are you enjoying your stay?" I asked

"Yeah! Don't worry about Youm and his party. I've already made the necessary arrangements on my end." Fuze assures

"Good to hear!"

"You surely aren't a bad slime. That much, I've already determined. But still... I'm very happy to know that there's such a delightful place for recreation in the vicinity of Blumund. I'd be coming here all the time if not for the danger of the trip." Fuze sighs as he takes another sip

The dangers on the road, huh...

"What do you think about building a road to Blumund?" I suggested 

"Huh?"

"Exactly what I said! Constructing a road to the Kingdom of Blumund! The point about all this is that I want this place to flourish! I want all monsters and humans to be welcomed and to let them know that not every monster in this world is bad! Don't worry about paving roads. We can handle that. I just need you to help me spread the word that we are monsters that pose no danger to anyone." I explained

"Hm... I see. Well, if you're willing to go that far for the benefit of our people... Then I, Fuze, pledge to spread the word of your town using all connections I have." Fuze said, giving me a slight bow

"Thank you!"

I served a little more beer for him until he became slightly drunk and silently fell asleep. Just then, Milim bursts into the room to cuddle me.

"I'm back!"

"Welcome back!"

"Milim's incredible to have around. She can find monsters right away, which makes the hunting a lot easier." Eren praised

"We caught a lot! Wanna see?" Milim asks, prodding my slime body

"Sure!"

I changed to my human form and followed Milim and Eren to where the boys were with their catch. Shion coincidentally came out of the hot springs and followed us as well. A little walking later, we finally arrived.
