(A/N: From this chapter forward, there will be light novel spoilers (there was a small LN spoiler in chapter 45), so do read with caution. I may post another two chapters this Saturday but I have inconsistent rest days right now, so we shall see. Other than that, thank you for always enjoying my story!)

Guy POV

The moment I returned from Walpurgis, I sat at the table of one of the balcony viewing rooms with a cup of wine in my hand, thinking back to the events of Walpurgis.

Rimuru Tempest...

That girl really knew her way with her actions. I definitely threatened her with some flirting but her response was to return the kiss.

Haha! She truly is interesting. No wonder Veldora is so interested in her.

Speaking of the dragon, he did give me an unamused expression when I flirted with Rimuru. The reaction was actually quite interesting. I want to see how many more buttons I can push before he starts bursting.

"You seem happy."

I turned to the voice, recognizing it to be Velzard's.

"Did something interesting happen during Walpurgis?" She asks, taking a seat on the chair beside me

"Yeah, definitely. Look at this." I motioned, summoning the crystallized chair that Rimuru froze in her anger, "Interesting, right?"

Velzard observes the chair with a hum, "It emits slight divinity..."

"Wanna take a guess on who did that?" I asked, sipping my wine

She gives me a knowing smile, "... Tell me."

I recounted everything that happened during Walpurgis to her and she listened to it as usual.

"So Rimuru Tempest was truly the person with the divine aura. It bothers me that such a pure aura exists right now, especially when my older brother is gone."

"I know. I questioned your little brother about it. He showed up at Walpurgis, which was a surprise. He jumped into the battlefield, although he had been somewhere else before. I still have no idea what kind of spatial skill he used, but that was something. He even jumped in to save her from an attack from the shadows when he didn't have to. She was plenty strong to come out unscathed from that surprise attack, I'm sure." I noted, knowing that what I had said was true to an extent

"Is that so?"

"It's true! Ha! I remember it so clearly, he threatened me that he would fight me or you if I even tried to hurt her. He had such a fierce glare back then. I should have accepted his proposal to fight but I had other thoughts on my mind at that time. His words had been so interesting that they slipped my mind. He also admitted so proudly that if she puts in serious effort, Rimuru Tempest could defeat any Demon Lords that had been present, but he left me and Milim out of the loop. That's what got me thinking! Her powers she showed back then were already something, but if she was really trying to hide her divine aura, then what would have happened if she decided to release it? I really wanted to see it, but unfortunately, Clayman was simply so weak that she didn't even have to use it. She only used it to protect the others when her servant's attack accidentally went haywire. She's crazy, I'm telling you. Despite him being her enemy, she protected Clayman and his own servants from that attack too!" I mused and laughed at the memory

"And she actually saved him after all that but wants him to be declared dead to the world. However, what did she mean by someone wanting to rock the pillars of power? Does it have something to do with the 'game'?" Velzard voices out those thoughts in wonder
