It was already the 3rd time they had fought this week. They were fighting over the stupidest things now a days. They both knew this relationship would be the end of them but there was something that always pulled them together again. It was frustratingly beautiful. But this time, Marceline wasn't going to be the one to apologize. It was killing her but she had to stay put. Eventually Bonnie would crack. Marceline sighed and hugged her pillow and remembered why they fought.

~Flashback~

"Hey Marcie, what movie should we watch tonight?" Bonnie sat on the bed.

"I was thinking we could go out tonight." Marcy said as she sat across from her.

"I don't think we should. The citizens..." Bonnie hesitated.

"They know about us. And they don't have a problem with it." Marceline sighed, she just wanted to show off her girl.

"Even if they don't, it doesn't mean we have to flaunt it around. I'm still a princess. I have to be decent." Bonnie reasoned but Marceline started to get irritated.

"It seems like were not even dating." Mumbled Marceline.

"Well we are. Isn't that enough?" Bonnie inquired.

"It doesn't feel like it either." Marceline continued, ignoring her question. This pushed Bonnie over the edge.

"Well if you feel that way, maybe we shouldn't be dating at all!" Bonnie raised her voice and it ticked the black haired girl off.

"Yeah?! Well maybe we shouldn't!" Growled Marceline.

"Okay! Then get out!!" Screamed Bonnie.

"Fine!!!" Marceline rampaged and flew out the window.

~End Flashback~

Marceline felt tears sting her eyes but before any could escape, she felt her phone vibrate. She pulled it out and looked to find a message from her.

PBub: Marcy, come meet me in my room.

Marcy: Why?

Pbub: Just do it.

Marceline stood, and floated slowly towards the kingdom, wondering what Bonnie could possibly want now. She sighed as she went into the room. A chair in the middle of the room with a note. Marceline picked it up and read it.

'Please, sit down, close your eyes.
Let me apologize in a way only you can do right.
I'm no singer but I'll try for you. Just like I've tried so many things.
-Your Bonbon'

Marceline sat on the chair and closed her eyes curiously. She heard the playing of a guitar and a soft voice.

I don't know if I can yell any louder
How many time I've kicked you outta here?
Or said something insulting?

I can be so mean when I wanna be
I am capable of really anything
I can cut you into pieces
When my heart is, broken

Please don't leave me
Please don't leave me

I'm always saying how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back to this
Please, don't leave me

How did I become so obnoxious?
What is it with you that makes me act like this?
I've never been this nasty

Can't you tell that this is all just a contest?
The one that wins will be the one that hits the hardest

But baby I don't mean it
I mean it, I promise

I forgot to say out loud how beautiful you really are to me
I can't be without, you're my perfect little punching bag
And I need you, I'm sorry.

Please, please don't leave me
Baby, please don't leave me

No, don't leave me
Please don't leave me

I'm always saying how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back,
It's gonna come right back to this.

Please, don't leave me.
I always say how I don't need you
But it's always gonna come right back to this

Please don't leave me
Baby, please don't leave

The song ended. Marceline opened her eyes and saw a teary eyed Bonnie.

"Please don't leave me, not again." Bonnie whispered, obviously referring to what happened almost 800 years ago between the two. Marceline reached forward and wrapped her arms around the girl. As she did, Bonnie began to sob.

"Hey, hey, hey. Cutie. Look at me." Marceline gently requested and Bonnie looked up at her. "I'm not stupid, I'm not going to let you go ever again. You're my everything Bon. I'm so sorry." She adjusted Bonnie so she was sitting on her lap.

"I was so scared." Bonnie trembled.

"You knew we would come back. We always do." Marceline reassured her and strokes her hair.

"Not that, I just thought that maybe if we went out and you noticed how ordinary I am and would get tired of me." Bonnie said gently, grabbing a fistful of Marcy's shirt.

"Never Bon. Never." She tilted her chin up and kissed her lips gently. Bonnie kisses back.

"Please don't leave me." Bonnie whispered sleepily when they pulled away. Bonnie began to snore lightly and Marceline noticed the time. She smiled and just held the girl.

"I wouldn't dream of it." Marceline whispered in her ear and hummed softly until she also fell asleep.
