3rd Person POV:

Harry and Louis got dressed. Harry only put on a pair of black gym shorts and no shirt while Louis borrowed a pair of Harry's black jeans and one of his long sleeve shirts, giving him sweater paws that Harry couldn't help but coo over. They then slipped on their shoes and got into the elevator to go to the common floor of the pethouse levels. The adults had turned off the feed from Harry's floor when the boys stepped into the elevator and agreed to all act like they knew nothing about what was going on between the teenagers.

Harry and Louis stepped out to see all the adults in the living room and kitchen. They greeted everyone with a "hello" but still gave Bucky his usual fist bump. Bruce said he needed to check out Harry's injuries so Bruce unwrapped Harry's midsection as well as took the bandages from his arms, legs, and head.. The superheroes watching had sympathy for the young boy with burns, cuts, and bruises littering his body. Anne and Tony, as his parents, were understandably more upset seeing their son like that, but there is one person in the room that seeing the injuries made his heart hurt and tears roll down his face, Louis.

While the bandages were off Harry said he wanted to see the damage. He walked over to the mirror on the living room wall and turned a little to see his back where most of the damage was. After seeing his back Harry looked closer to see the cut on his head. That's when he saw Louis with red eyes and tears on his cheeks. Harry almost gave himself whiplash with how fast he turned around. He quickly made his way across the room to Louis, paying no attention to the adults in the room, and got on his knees in front of him. "Hey. Why are you crying?" Harry worryly asked the crying boy. "I just don't like seeing you hurt." Louis said between hiccups. "Louis, I'm okay. See? I'm not in any pain. I'm okay." Harry said, holding Louis' face in his large hands as he wiped the tears from the smaller boy's face. Louis sniffled from crying. "I still don't like it." he said, pouting but had calmed down for the most part. Harry chuckled a little before kissing standing up and kissing Louis' forehead before walking over to Bruce, leaving a smiling and blushing Louis behind him.

Louis kept his eyes on Harry the entire time Bruce was putting the cream and bandages all over Harry's body. This did not go unnoticed by either set of parents or the heroes surrounding them. Once Bruce was done, he said Harry's injuries are still bad enough where he isn't comfortable with him leaving the safety of the tower yet. "Louis, do you want to tour some of the tower since I'm not allowed to leave?" Harry asked Louis, sticking his hand out for Louis. Without saying a word Louis grabbed Harry's hand. Still without saying anything the two teens left and went to the elevator, disappearing to go exploring around the place Harry called home.

Everyone just watched as they left but the second the doors to the elevator closed Natasha spoke up. "Twenty bucks they are dating within the next month." she claimed. "Thirty bucks says two weeks." Clint countered. "One hundred dollars says within the next week they will be dating." Bucky said in such a serious way that most thought he had already seen the future. Alec interrupted before the bets could go any further, "No. They're just close. They are going to be stepbrothers soon, they wouldn't do something like that." he said in disbelief.

While the adult group debated what kind of relationship the two teenage boys had, Harry was showing Louis around the Avengers museum to show him the history of each hero, adding in stories of his own with each of them. Harry and Louis spent close to an hour in the museum before Harry led Louis through different intern labs to show him all the different things the company is working on, skipping the lab that exploded the day before. Louis really liked going around the tower with Harry. Interns kept walking up to Harry asking him for help. Everytime Harry told them that today was his day off and that he was just showing Louis around but that he would help them tomorrow as soon as he was able to return to work. Harry also showed Louis his personal lab and some of the things he had been working on in his own time. Louis was fascinated with everything, constantly asking questions to know more about what Harry does.

Harry and Louis missed lunch due to losing track of time during their tour, but were just hanging out in Harry's personal lab when FRIDAY let them know dinner was ready on the common floor of the penthouse levels. Louis sat on the stool at the biggest tool bench while Harry made sure everything they pulled out was put away properly before both walked out of the lab, Harry locking it behind them, and making their way into the elevator.

Dinner was normal, normal as it could be with a team of superheroes, divorced parents, the divorced parents' new partners, and two step brothers who have started to have not so brotherly feelings for each other. There were embarrassing stories told, mainly about Harry, going throughout his life making everyone at the table laugh. Harry and Louis held hands under the table during the entire meal. This went unnoticed by almost everyone. The boys were good enough to hide it from their parents, stepparents, and other normal heroes but still not good enough for everyone. There were three people who noticed the closeness though. Those three were Bucky, Natasha, and Clint but that was only because of their pasts as spies. If they didn't have their pasts as spies even they wouldn't have noticed.

After dinner was over it was time for Alec, Anne, and Louis to leave. Harry and Louis went to Harry's floor to get Louis' clothes that he wore the day before. Louis was going to change back into his clothes. "What are you doing?" Harry asked him from his spot laid across the bed. "Changing back into my clothes?" Louis said, confused about why Harry was asking him. "No. Here, take your clothes home in one of my bags. You can keep the clothes, they look cute on you." Harry told Louis. "Are you sure?" Louis asked Harry. "Yes. Now can you come lay down with me until you have to leave?" Harry said, holding his arms open, with puppy dog eyes, for Louis to crawl between. Louis just smiled and crawled into bed, snuggling into Harry's chest. Both teens, smiles on their faces, stayed latched on to each other with legs intertwined. They weren't sleeping, just enjoying the comforting presence of one another.

It was thirty minute later that FRIDAY told them that their parents were waiting for them in the parking garage. Harry and Louis reluctantly got out of bed after another fifteen minutes and another warning from FRIDAY about needing to get up. When walking Harry and Louis held hands but in the elevator they were wrapped in each other's arms once again before having to go back to only holding hands when the elevator stopped. When the boys arrived in front of their parents they of course got asked what took them so long. "We just wanted to spend a little more time together." Harry answered for both of them. The parents accepted their answer and said it was time to go. Anne and Tony shared a hug while Alec and Tony shook hands. "Thank you for allowing my son and I to stay last night." Alec said to Tony. "You're welcome. Couldn't really split those two up with how they were acting last night could we?" Tony said motioning his head over to their sons who were standing next to Alec's car hugging each other tightly like they wouldn't be seeing each other again in two days. "True. I'm happy they have gotten so close in such a short amount of time. You hear horror stories about teenage step siblings so much. We really lucked out." Alec said and Tony couldn't help but agree. Anne and Alec climbed into the front seats while Harry gave Louis one more kiss on the top of his head before letting him go so he could get in. "Love you mom. I'll see you Friday night." Harry said before shutting the car door for the three to drive off as he stood next to his dad, wishing he was in the back seat with Louis as he watched the car disappear around the corner to exit the underground garage.

Harry told his dad that he was tired making the elevator stop at his floor before it went all the way up to the other penthouse floors. The father and son said their goodbyes before the elevator doors shut, separating them. Harry went straight to his room and crawled into bed loving how it smelt like Louis. Harry pulled his phone out of his pocket and took a picture of himself in bed with the message "It feels so empty now." with a sad face and sent it to Louis. Louis sent back a text saying "I'm sorry but we will be able to see each other again Friday when you go back to your mom's house." "I know. It just sucks that I now have to feel lonely in my bed again." Harry decided to then turn on Netflix to watch a random movie and eat from the skittle jar he had next to his bed.

It was half an hour later that Harry's phone buzzed again. It was a text from Louis. The text had a picture of him lying in his bed with the message attached saying "Ok. Now I get what you mean, it is lonely." After that Harry and Louis started texting again and continued to text until around two o'clock in the morning when they both finally fell into restless sleep.
