Q: I need some tips and tricks for quick changes. Whattya got?
Elphaba: Hi! If you have a dresser make sure they actually HELP you. Most of the time they will, but make sure they have your costumes ready before you are even offstage, ESPECIALLY if it's a very quick change. This will help you enormously as you can do other things (like shoes, accessories etc) whilst they button or zip you up. If you don't have a dresser make sure you have all your costumes in order and hung up neatly. Maybe get you next costume ready before you go onstage so you can just grab it. If your costume is difficult to get on ask someone who is not doing anything at the moment like an ensemble member or a stagehand or just a another cast member who isn't changing themselves. If it's not that quick of a change help each other out. Hope I could help!
