Q: I'd love to get into theatre but I'm extremely shy. I hate attention which is a problem. I love musicals especially music because I am a musician. I've played in the pit to make up for the fact that I'm not on stage. Do you have any tips for getting over stage fright and shyness?
Eponine: Try practicing in front of your family and friends.tell them your trying to get over your stage fright, and ask them to sit and listen to you rehearse. As for shyness, theatre is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things. If you mess up, no one, in theatre will judge you or make fu of you for it. It's all just a learning process. Hope that helps.
