Q: I was reading a theatre kid book (bwaygrace777) and I guess I don't know much about theatre but why was Amanda Seyfried a bad Cosette? Sorry just wondering.
Millie Dillmount: Okay so Amanda is a talented singer and actress but she has a very shaky vibrato- which makes it seem like she doesn't have breath control which makes her seem inexperienced.
Also we all fear Les Mis is becoming to mainstream thanks to the movie. Whenever people think of Cosette, they think of Amanda Seyfried instead of the classic Broadway actresses that play/played her. Hope this helped.
