His Uncertain Love

Chapter Twelve

I've gotta get away and let you go, I've gotta get over...."

Amaya hummed while driving the car towards her house, suddenly her phone went off, she attended the call as it was Arjun

" Hello Amaya!, How are you ? " A sweet chirpy voice spoke at the other end taking her in suprise

" Amma! " She exclaimed

" When did you return to Chennai ? " She asked

" Last night " Said Arjun's mom

" So, tell me how are you ? " She asked

" I am fine, What about you, Uncle and Shanaya ? " Amaya asked about her and her family

" They all are good, how is everything ? "

" All good " she replied

" So, Any good news ? " His mother asked causing her smile to vanish

" Maa, give my phone to me " she heard Arjun's voice

" Eru da, kodukuran " ( wait, I will give ) his mother said to him

" Anyway Amaya, I looking for a perfect girl to our Arjun, Can you help me for this ? "

" That's great Amma, I would love to help you for this "

" Amma! I am not interested in marriage right now " she heard arjun's voice again

" Shut up, Amaya give him a piece of advice, he never listens to me, God why did give birth to ungrateful brat ? " His mother said causing her to chuckle

" Amma! " She heard faint voices in the background before she knows the phone handed to Arjun

" Amaya..."

" Arjun ? "

" Don't mind my mother, you know right ? She is always like this, so don't take anything serious "

" Amma is right Arjun, why are you not agreeing to marry ? " She asked

" Are you planning to become a saint? " Says she and chuckled

" Amaya! " He yelled slightly but she knows that he is smiling on the other side of the phone

" Or Are you in love with someone? " Her sentence completely wiped off the smile from his face

"........" She became confused

" Arjun ? "

" Yes ? " He cleared his throat, she became suspicious about his behaviour

" Arjun, do you love anyone ? " She asked again, the first time she asked this question for fun but hearing nothing from him makes her conclusions true

" Yes " he whispered she couldn't hear it almost

" Arjun! " She exclaimed as she couldn't believe the news

" Really! Oh my god!!, who is that lucky girl ? Do I know her ?  "

Arjun became nervous, he doesn't know what to say, he can't say that she is the one he loves nor he can lie about this as he couldn't let himself to lie to her.

" Arjun, Are you there ? "

" Ahh Amaya, I-I am getting call from hospital, I will call you back " he hung up the call

She sensed that something is off, she decided to ask what's bothering him when they meet eachother next time, she was determined to not to let him off until he tells the truth

Suddenly her eyes got a sight, she frowned as  she saw Aaira standing on the side of the road, she parked the car at the side and got down from the car

" Hey " she called Aaira once she reached near her, Aaira turned to look at the person who called her

" Hi ? " She was suprised to see Amaya here

" What happened ? Why are you standing here ? "

" My tire got punctured " she pointed at the car behind her, without thinking any second Amaya said

" Come with me, I will drop you just pick you belongings and ask someone to take the car " she said while Aaira looked her with hesitation

" Don't worry, I won't kill you and throw your body in the woods " she tried to joke but it made the situation worse

" Do you have any problem by coming with me ? " She asked

" No " Aaira quickly answered

" It's just I don't want to trouble you "

" You are not giving me any trouble "

" Ok " Aaira said after a moment

Aaira felt uneasy, she didn't know what to do at that moment, they both got into the car, Amaya asked her destination, after that they was awkward silence engulfed them

Aaira had many things to tell Amaya, to tell her to stay away from Aadit, even though she agreed to divorce him, Aaira still couldn't digest and she can't help but to feel afraid, afraid that if Amaya might do something between Her and Aadit

That thought alone makes her feel sick, no matter what she can't afford to lose him, he is her everything after her parents, she would do anything for him

She wants to know about her intention and wants to why she was her behaviour like this, instead of keeping everything to herself she decides to ask and finds this car ride a perfect chance

This is going to be a car ride with full surprises, answers to the question and more doubts.
