I thought Ivy and I were doing fine again after going to the water park and reconciling, yet she still canceled on me for dinner last week. I talked to my therapist again about it and she said that I have a tendency to forgive and forget easily. Maybe I do, but I can't help it.

I tried to block her from my mind as I wiped down the counter at the bar. I had to work a lot more while Ren was busy trying to find a replacement for Johnny. He had some more interviews today and hopefully I'll have help by the end of the week.

I'm pretty sure I'm the most unluckiest person in the world as another horrible thing happens to me, Ivy walks in the bar. Of course she would, my life is built like a predictable fanfic after all.

I slid a coke to where she was sitting, I admit it was a little more aggressive then needed. She stared up at me for a second before looking away.

I went back to doing my usual work before Ravi walked in with his little group. He smiled at me quickly while his friends weren't looking, I smiled back and got back to work.

Ivy was still quiet, she seemed distracted but I tried not to care. This shift felt like it was lasting forever but I'd only been here for an hour. I hoped Ivy would get up and leave but she didn't show any signs of going anywhere anytime soon.

My shift was going by relatively smoothly, it felt normal, yet Ivy just wouldn't leave. I debated saying something to her before finally working up the courage to question her,"Are you just going to sit here all night?"

"I don't think your supposed to ask a customer to leave." Ivy smirked a little.

Her smirk usually gave me butterflies, but right now I was just annoyed." Yeah well when that customer has stood you up twice in the last two weeks it's kind of a different story." I replied.

"Look I said I was sorry, and it's not like I can just leave work." She said.

"Then why make plans the days your working?" I questioned.

"I don't, my boss has me working extra, it's not my fault and I don't really want to lose my job." She said annoyed.

"I understand that but you have the right to refuse overtime." I replied just as annoyed.

"I know but that doesn't mean he won't treat me worse." She started to raise her voice.

"Well I-" Before I could finish Ren interrupted us.

"Is there a problem here because I'm pretty sure your supposed to be working." He questioned while smiling even though he sound a bit passive aggressive.

"No, no problem I was just leaving." Ivy said and slammed down a $5 bill before walking out the door.

I let out a huff before Ren told me I can take the rest of the night off, clearly feeling bad for me. I left through the back doors and heard 2 people arguing. It was Ravi and one of those 'friends' of his. I didn't know whether I should show myself or just go back inside.

I decided to try and open the door to go back inside but it had already locked behind me. I decided to just show myself. They both quickly looked over to me and Ravi's eyes widened almost comically.

It was then I noticed the drugs the man with the greased back hair held in his hand. I immediately flinched back towards the door wanting to escape the situation I was stuck in. Great first Ivy, now this.

"What the hell are you doing out here!" The man shouted and pushed be back into the railing. It hurt like hell when my arm made contact with the metal, I had also noticed the gun in his pocket now with our close proximity.
