Lies after kisses

Kadens Pov

"Come in" My dad says after I knock on his office door

"We have a problem" I say.

"What is it Kaden?"

"Noah and Nova just met their father. He showed up at the club last night then asked them to meet for lunch. It might be a coincidence but their dads name is Ricardo Rhodes"

"Rhodes is their dad? How did you not know this Kaden? Why would you bring them into our home. Especially with Bella here." He yells.

I swear he never understands me.

"Dad I'm trying to say that they just met him. He left them when they were one and showed up last night for whatever reason. All the rumors about Ricardo having kids is true. Nova and Noah are next in line."

"Fuck" My dad yells pouring more whiskey into his cup

"Thought you said we couldn't curse?" Jake says walking into the office with Alex by his side.

"Not now Jake" My dad says.

"Dad we have to tell them we own the club. We own the biggest mafia in America and the twins don't know they've been fighting for us. They deserve to know before it's too late" I say

"I don't know. What if they side with Ricardo? He is their father after all" My dad says running his hands through his hair

"I don't get it. What's the big deal with them? They're just kids" Jake says popping another marshmallow into his mouth

"There's been rumors going around about how well the twins fight. Novas winning streak has brought many people to the club recently and that means those 'kids' are making us more money. Now everyone wants them on their side. Ricardo being their father means that everyone will kiss his ass until they get the twins on their side. I don't want to use them for my own success. I declined all the offers I got for the twins but I know Ricardo will use them to benefit his mafia" Lorenzo says

"Plus Novas their mafia princess and the best fighter we've had in a while so everyone's going to want their hands on her" I add

"Wait what if they get mad that we didn't tell them all of this? What if they stop talking to us?" Jake asks

"They're family Jake. We've gotten too close to them to let them go now. We'll tell them tomorrow" Alex says

I wish that was true.

Novas Pov

I don't think I can handle anymore.

I'm still alive for one reason.
