The Story Of Anna Jones

"So when dad said you'll marry into a family and take down the Romes, he meant we'd take down Lorenzo and his mafia?" Noah asks

"I guess. I won't marry anyone and we would never help take them down so there's nothing to worry about Noah"

"Do you think they really used us?"

"I don't know. I honestly don't think so but we have to be careful with who we trust. We considered Isaac our parent but he was hired to stalk us so let's not let our guard down now"

"Do you think they got close with us so we wouldn't help dad take them down? Cause you marrying that guy means that we'd be able to take down Kadens whole family and mafia" Noah says mostly to himself

"Like I said, I'd never do anything to hurt the boys so let's just stop worrying about everything"

I stopped going to Anna's class so I've been home all day this whole week catching up on school work.

Noah's been pretending to be sick so Anna's been letting him stay home.

We haven't talked to any of the boys yet.

I miss them. I have so much anger towards everyone right now and I have my walls back up but I just miss them. I miss them showing up at random times and our sleep overs.

Anna said they ask about us everyday.

Noah starts waking up so I think it's the perfect time to talk.

"Noah I think we should—"

I get cut off when my phone starts ringing.

I don't check the caller id before answering.

"Hello" I say

"NOVA IS THAT YOU? NOVA RUN!" A women screams

I get up and put the phone on speaker.

"Mom?" I whisper

"This is your first warning" A man says

There's more screaming coming from my mom.

She's yelling for help.

Someone ended the call.

I didn't even notice Noah in front of me.

"Nove?" His voice cracks as tears roll down his face

"Nove was that really mom? What happened to her? Who was that man"

"He said he would send us warnings if we didn't listen" I say with tears running down my face.

"Dad did this?" He asks

I nodded. What was I supposed to say??

"Nova we need their help" He says
