Scarlett wandered around into the forest, watching the trees sway in the sound of the gentle breeze blowing her red hair to the side. Her dress was torn and the ribbons that wrapped around her short  ponytail were ragged. Her  mother was horrible and all she wanted was her to be perfect.   However, she knew it was next to impossible and her mother was everything from perfect.   Her  long red hair continuously created a rhythmical movement of going in her face and onto the side. As  she watched the town with their flashing lights. Her hands scraped and with healed cuts from accidentally scraping them when trying to hold onto another branch.

her knees drawing blood as scraped her knee trying to get up higher in the tree.Regardless of the blood, she climbed as high as she dared..  She didn’t care that the dress would get ripped. Scarlet didn’t care at all for the dresses her  mother bought her. She would always stay in shorts and a tee shirt. She felt more free that way

It was marked boyish by her ‘’mother’’ but she didn't like dresses. She never liked those  ribbons tied to her hair but if she dared to tear them off. she would always be marked as an ungrateful child.  She hated wearing those stupid ribbons  but she was forced to be a perfect little doll. Suddenly, she broke out in a grin.

Then, She muttered to herself. “it doesn't matter’’ She reminded herself, giggling as she jumped down from the tree. The dress was torn in every way. She was far from perfect. “I can't wait to see the look on her face once she sees this’’  She smirked. Then began running back to her house.    As she  climbed up her stairs she saw her father  but she loved him more than she loved her . mother. she sighed and waved to him as he was reading a book surrounded by the fireplace feeling some time of caring energy coming from him

‘’Hey kiddo’’ he smiled then turned his attention back to his book. It felt like  he was her actual caring father but sometimes scarlet wondered what happened to her mother that she completely changed her.
