Apparently allos males view friendship between opposite sex as impossible.
And I just discovered that.
It started with two of my classmates talking. One of two, a guy, told the other, a girl, as stated above and then all the class started talking about it too.
The result? The girls believed that the friendship between a guy and a girl was totally possible, meanwhile all the boys viewed it as impossible.
They think that, if not for external circumstances (like being classmates, picking the same bus, practicing the same sport, etc.) the only reason for a boy approaching a girl is because he's interested in her in a sexual and romantic way.
During the whole discussion I continued to repeat "what if they don't want to date at all?" and things like this, but it seems that it's too difficult for my classmates to wrap their heads around the concept of aros, aces and aroaces.
Pointless to say, I feel utterly disgusted.
I always thought "Allos only think about love and sex", but jokingly, not for real. Now I'm aware that is really like that.
I- I don't know what else to say. It's too much for me to elaborate.
