As fast as he got here, as fast was he gone, which made everything even more suspicious. Not only the way he talked, but his whole body language was off. He was all nervous and fidgety, and I was a bit worried.
- Time skip to Y/N getting ready -
I was wearing my favourite outfit with some jewellery, when I stumbled upon a small accessory, which I've been trying to find for ages, since I moved recently. I'm still arranging and packing out, so things got easily lost again.
,,Hello there, beautiful!''
It was a necklace with a small red heart-shaped pendant, which Rob gifted me to our first anniversary. I've always worn it, rarely took it off, and since then, three years have passed.
As I heard a knock on the door, I put the necklace on, opening the door a second after.
,,Hey Y/N, you look beautiful!''
,,Thank you, you look handsome!''
The compliment flustered Rob, but he was still as nervous as before, and honestly, it made me more nervous by the second.
,,Hey Rob, before we go: Is everything alright? I'm a bit worried, 'cause...You're all fidgety...''
,,I'll explain it to you when we get there, alright?''
Nodding in approval, I took my bag and my keys, and we walked to Rob's car. He opened the door for me, and I thanked him mas I got in. The whole drive, we didn't speak a word, just silently held hands.
,,We're here!''
,,Oh, wow, this is...This is so beautiful!''
We drove up on a hill, not far from my flat, which overlooked the whole city. It was nighttime, and the stars shined beautifully. The car door on my side was opened, and Rob offered me his hand, which I gladly accepted.
The weather was comfortably warm, so I didn't needed to worry about wearing a jacket. I was led to the front of the car, and laid down on the hood, cuddled up next to Rob. We just stayed like that for a bit, before I felt Rob giving me a kiss on my head, and whispering:
,,I gotta tell you something.''
It was only then that I realized, that he wasn't fidgeting anymore.
,,What's up?''
,,I got another gig in a film...''
,,That's great! But...You seem so sad about it...''
,,There's a bit of a problem with it...''
,,And that would be...?''
,,I'd need to go to Canada, 'cause it's going to get shot there...And I'd hate to leave you here, especially since you just moved and everything...''
I sat up, leaning my head on his shoulder, and taking his hand, rubbing circles on the back of it with my thumb. Rob sighed, so I just gave him a kiss on his cheek.
,,Don't you get days off and stuff?''
,,Yeah, but that's not the point, I-''
,,Hey, stop there for a second, alright? Lemme tell you something: I am happy for you and your new role, it's cool that you get to shoot it in Canada, and...We can plan, you know? And maybe, if I get the chance, I'll come visit you, hm? How's that sound?''
,,It sounds good! But I'll miss you...I'll call you every other day, alright?''
,,I'd love that!''
We were both smiling, and somehow giggling like crazy, before Rob delicately pulled me into his lap, cupped my cheek and kissed me passionately. I kissed him back, and I never wanted this to end. Eventually it did, and we pulled away from each other, as I got lost in his soft blue eyes.
,,I love you, Rob, and we'll do this with ease!''
,,I love you, too, Y/N, and yes, we will!''
The rest of the evening was spent stargazing, cuddling and kissing:)
